About WLanAdb
WLanAdb is Wireless Android Development Bridge that allows to use standard ADB commands without connecting Android device to desktop by USB cable, installing drivers and without need to root it.
You will need to install desktop client to use application with. Please follow this link to get one: http://stevenrudenko.github.io/wlanadb/
WARNING! Starting from Jelly Bean (SDK 16) release every application can read its own logs only! Don't worry. You can grand permission to read all logs for WLanAdb by next command:
adb shell pm grant com.wlanadb android.permission.READ_LOGS

WOW! After nearly a month of beating my head against a wall using adb.exe, I'm actually able to see my device with WLanADB. G:AndroidSDKwlanadb>wlanadbterminal devices 1 device(s) found: 1) D3D2DD476D482D46 DREAM - DREAM (4.1.1) BTW --- "This is a spreadtrum Chinese cloned phone." However, as soon as I try to do anything that will potentially give me root access, the program abruptly shuts down. I tried to copy a simple icon graphic over to the phone. WlanADB reported the image was transferred, but I cannot find it anywhere on the phone. Not sure if its a problem with the software or if my phone is superlocked and prevents ANY attempt to gain root or even move a simple file over. I really like the idea of what you are doing and hope you continue to add more commands to this app. Perhaps you could make it open source so people can add some commands to it. If this program worked on my phone I would have given it a 5 for the best adb.exe workaround I've found. Thanks.
