This program allows you to use your Android tablet or phone as a virtual numpad. You do not need to install any software on your computer - simply go to https://wjholden.com/numpad and run the Java Web Start application.
This program is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux provided a Java Runtime Environment.
The current revision is a complete rewrite. It features more efficient memory and network algorithms, multicast instead of broadcast, and easier multi-user configuration.
This app was designed for private networks and does not encrypt your keystrokes. Avoid this program for confidential data entry.
The website isn't finished, but the Java Web Start application at https://wjholden.com/numpad works flawlessly by my testing. Send feature requests and bug reports by e-mail, I love a challenge!

Just what I needed for using Blender on a MacBook Pro with no numpad. Have installed it on an Samsung note 2 and it works fine. The only slightly tricky bit is to create an exception in Java via sys prefs on the mac. A video of how to do this might be a good idea to help speed up setup

Connection: easy. Java program on the computer: working perfectly. But why on EARTH would you have said program IGNORE KEYS??? What kind of app developer creates an app that BLOCKS ITSELF??? Wasted money. No configurable settings for the app. Wow.
