ABOUT THE APP:
Share Fare helps you find people to share rides with based on where you are and where you want to go. Shares can range from 10 block cab rides to cross-country road trips using your own cars. All you need to do is enter your where you want to go and when you want to leave and Share Fare will connect you with others going the same way. Best of all, it's 100% free.
FEATURES:
- Browse ride shares based on your current location. Share Fare automatically detects where you are using your mobile device's GPS
- Chat with potential ride sharers to coordinate rides using integrated real time instant-messaging
- View other Share Fare users' profiles before sharing a ride and leave feedback on a user for the rest of the community
- Create an account by simply entering a user name or connecting with your Facebook account
- Coming soon: Use Share Fare to call participating car services covering your current location to directly call for a cab
*DEVELOPERS NOTE: This app is in BETA and it may experience stability issues as bugs are fixed and various phone & tablet models are supported. Please be patient and do not one star us while we solve problems, add features, and grow the community to make this application useful for everyone, everywhere.
Frequent updates to the client will be published as we fix bugs, add new features, and support more phones. We are currently focusing our marketing efforts on the New York City metro area, but the software was designed for global use. Bummer! Was hoping to use this right away. I even went back in and tried to login using Facebook. I do not like using Facebook for third party apps because Facebook keeps changing their policies and I do not like subjecting my contacts to broadcasts or advertising from third party applications. Either way, after I allowed this app to access my facebook information, it still would not allow me to register. And now I do not know how to uninstall from facebook. I always email the developer.

Every single time I try to.make a profile I input the User name click sign up.. and am kicked off the app. No way to build a privilege. SGSII for now.. though very promising. Hope more people download and use.

Wouldn't work at all on my samsung galaxy s3 Bummer! Was hoping to use this right away. I even went back in and tried to login using Facebook.
