Dotti

Really not what I expected. I don't want to list out a ton of complaints but my biggest issue is that it is very limited to only specific apps and icons that Dotti has pre-programmed. I expected to be able to draw my own icon and have that appear whenever I received a notification from the app of my choosing. Instead you can only check specific apps on or off and you have no ability to change the image that shows up for those programs. For $80 I expected MUCH MUCH more.

Doesn't even work at all. Device had stopped working now even.poor quality.

Data not syncing... What's the point to have a device made for notifications if it can't notify you?? Don't buy the Dotti, it's a ripoff!

The software need more work !!! The notification not working at all Hardware without stable software it's just garbage

I wish it had Allo notifications.

This app is always in a working state, and as such cannot be hibernated when you're not using the Dotti device. This has caused me to uninstall it because I only use Dotti at home and don't really want the app slowing down my phone while I'm elsewhere. I would only recommend Dotti to others if they're planning to control it with a secondary Android device and not their primary one.

I liked it a ton for notifications, but since the Nougat update, the notifications don't work. :-(

I find the app incomplete with features. The product is good but the app isn't. It should be more FLEXIBLE to users' needs. Can you please allow us to hack into it to allow it to display color from color code, write simple code for it, etc.? And I hope I can make led patterns even without a connected dotti so I can sync it later. We need more controls and stuff. Please also improve the user interface. I am expecting an update to this app because I know it has potential.

Dotti does not show up in the app. Numerous resets and reconnects, my Samsung Tab 8 pairs with the Dotti, yet not within the app. Help!

This product is so fun and cool it's just such a shame that it's 100% controlled by this app. This company really needs to put some time and effort into making this app user friendly and capable of using the Dotti product to it's fullest. The app is what ruins this product for me. The app is so un user friendly and not easy to create new animations. Also the included online store is so limited. Witti Inc, please put some time and effort into this app.

Needs compatibility with googleplay music and other streaming services, also needs custom clocks and just more control overall. Disappointed with the lack of options included in the app.

It's a poor app to begin with (jpg saving changes colors when reloading them into Dotti) but a critical missing feature is a white slider. Half the color spectrum is missing. Nothing lighter than the full colors can be achieved, not even some of the colors loaded in the default settings! The app would still be only OK, but at least it won't be crippled if you add that.

Not Enough Content to Download. There should be better templates for social media apps...

quite lag but good , please update the clock because i can't see it... and sometimes error and must restore to factory... pleasee update the clock and its all good...

I bought this for the visual notifications. Some parts of the app work OK but not the notifications. I get a "synchronizing data" the never completes. Also tried the music display and the sync was lagging and a very low frame rate...so inaccurate and not useful.

Custom clock and custom notifications would go a long way here.

The app can suddenly detect and connect to the light. Works as expected.

The led product is awesome. The app looks to just be thrown together. Limit number of notifications.

the visualization is lagging in music playback, Lenovo P780, KITKAT 4.3

The new update now is good. Change it to 4 stars. I'll give this 5 stars if you provide more theme for the default ugly clock theme or more better if we can design our own clock theme.

New update fixed all previous things that cannot be done properly on android. Great job! 5 stars if more notifications can be stored, but understand it may be due to firmware limitations.

Update: New version of the app still cannot find Dotti from the S6. Very disappointing. - Galaxy S6 Edge can't find Dotti. Tested with an LG G3 and it finds it but won't stay connected. Nexus 5 connects and works. Deinstalled, reset Dotti and tried again on S6. Same issue.

After seeing what this can do on iOS I naively purchased this for my wife. At the moment this is just a brick with lights. Neat idea, but knowing what I know now I would have waited to purchase the device due to lack of functionality with the app. Not ready for Android prime time.

Everything nice,waiting to have full feature for my Note 4.
