Joy - Wedding App & Website

It was such a pain to initially download and link to my cousin's wedding it took me at least 6 tries. Navigating this app is infuriating as pages and information that my cousin posted are no where to be found. Important things such as when and where the wedding will be. Now when I attempt to click on the app it flashes on my screen for less than a second and goes back to my home screen. I shouldn't have to be pestering the bride with these sort of questions.

I love how easy it's been to set up and customize. I only had one issue, where I found a bug with the custom color setting in the design, but it was resolved within 24 hours. They were very responsive! I'm so glad to have found a great option with so many capabilities -- for FREE! I look forward to seeing what they continue to do!

Link to my friends wedding doesn't work. Tried to get help and kept looping me around the site or giving only instructions for the app. Really hate to have to download a app just to get info for my friends wedding.

It was working until the last update... now immediately crashes upon opening the app, even after fresh reinstall.

Been having a great experience with this app so far! Any issues I had on the website end have been resolved through the chat in a timely and friendly manner (such a great feature - never get rid of this!). I'm liking all the capabilities offered on this platform!

A lot of glitches on android app. I created a fake guest to see how tge app would work for our real guests.... not overwhelmed "with joy" about yhis app. When you finish rsvp-ing it routes you back to the login screen rather than the wedding site. Then when logging back in it kept routing back to the login screen. I had to exit the app and go back in to be able to view the wedding site

Not ready for prime time yet. Can't handle couples or families in RSVP's. Seems to create multiple RSVP's for the same person. In RSVP's track's "Rows" not people. Some day it will be fine.

Totally rubbish. Glad I bothered posting real invitations too.

So update. I went through the website to use a feature to open the app to view their moments. Now the app freezes at opening the event. Not sure its taking so long to open!?!?

Won't let you edit your site on the mobile app or desktop...makes you go through the initial questions over again and then ends up creating another website.

Why don't you fix the Android version?!?

The app doesn't load, just keeps spinning. Currently on OnePlus 3T, Android 7.1.1 please fix. The user experience from iPhone and Android is night and day.

I haven't had any problems with the app. I love that it can remind guest to silence phones at the ceremony

I really do not know why people are having such a difficult time. I tested it out myself and managed it for my friend that is getting married. The responsiveness is great, the turnaround time for questions is great. Super easy to use [if you are a techy like me] and the user interface is easy as well. My only issue is the guest list, that needs to be improved. For some reason not all the profiles are captured, secondly... you guys should allow google analytics, i like how you have the disclaimer about the css, but allow us that do know about it to do some tracking and analytics.

App has been disappointing. Everytime I open the app, it would freeze up. I have tried to uninstall it and reinstall it several times and the app still crashes. This has great potential but unfortunately it doesn't live up to it's expectations. Please continue to work on your glitches and fix the constant bugs. Once you have fix the issues, this would be a great app.

I had a little trouble signing in but the lovely Caroline for the instant chat helped me out with the Web page and the app. All good after 5 minutes. I wasn't a fan of doing a wedding website until I found this app and website, it is really easy to do and has the RSVP section that most of the other free pages don't have. Perfect for staying in touch with your guests =)

I am giving the app/system two stars because it has promise. However, I sincerely regret having tried a new app instead of going with established platforms, because of constant glitches that sometimes are not fixed even though the developers assure me things are being taken care of. I can't recommend it right now, although I think in a year or two it can be an excellent choice.

Had difficulty adding photos, now...it won't open ANY pictures!...only shows a black screen w/ "loading" circle in the center of what SHOULD be a photo!! Very disappointed that beautiful wedding photos aren't there!! :(

App worked great for the first few months, then it just froze up and has not worked properly since. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times with no improvement. The app home page image never loads, the guest list has not updated in weeks, and it is not up to date with the website.

The application has a lot of flaws. The notifications are majorly delayed. I also do not like the functionality of the pictures. The ones I uploaded via the app vs my desktop display differently. I don't see the pics I uploaded via the app unless I play the slideshow. The photo grid isn't very functional and you don't see all of the pictures unless you click slideshow. I also don't like that I can't edit most things on the application or mobile... I have to be in desktop view to edit or view RSVPs. Also, there is no way to change the font size. The location of the wedding displays in larger font than the date...I think that is backwards. Most of us use these sites to let people know to save the date. Lastly, I know it is small, but there should be an option under RSVP for "maybe" or "not sure"...not everyone is a yes or no...especially out of state guests, so they decline to register at all. Overall, I still gave the site 3 stars because I do like the overall look of it and the customizations available. But they definitely need to work on the app, editing and photos.

Perfect for soon to weds! Joy is a great app to use for RSVP's without using the traditional invitation (it can save costs using this method) user friendly and easy to navigate ;) would love to have an update reg the guest list. Hope we can edit using mobile :) i highly recommend this app! :)

I try to sign in on my HTC one mini 2, but it just takes me back to the original screen asking me to sign in again...I can't see any options to do anything else. Am I missing something here?

Love the site!! Mobile version can be hard to get used to, but website is fabulous!! Easy to use.

Every time I try to upload photos to the moments page it closes the app...

This concept is brilliant! I absolutely love the flow and the amount of detail this added to my wedding. My guests are thrilled and well informed.

Awesome user experience

The home screen seems to be endlessly loading, but I can get to get to other sections without issue. I like that you can send messages to the guests (only the ones that downloaded the app though). Glad a scrollbar was added to the menu. Would be nice if the pics I loaded solely for website design didn't show on shared photos (for the wedding).. Hope it continues to gets better as my guests start to rsvp.

I am 10 days from my wedding, and I used Joy the whole time to manage the guest list and event info. Looking back, I wish I hadn't. The most important aspect of using an Internet based RSVP system to me was keeping track of guests. This was very hard to do as the mobile app does not allow you to see anyone on the guest list who didn't sign up with an account . When you log on to the website via mobile, the guest list is not viewable. For some reason, when guests RSVP'D without adding an account, you don't get notified. In some of the fields of the RSVP section, they autopopulate so that the first answer choice is entered. Basically, the function is very limited. In summary, there are still way too many bugs that make this from being an app you could rely on to manage the important details of the wedding. If you just want something to show guests the schedule and addresses only, this will do.

Neat website, but the app is slow and rarely ever loads. I finally just deleted it entirely. I'm going try it one more time and see if it improves

Tried using this app after reading reviews. Spent all day trying to upload pictures. The webpage has a lot of glitches and the app is VERY slow. Please fix

App never loads fully on my Samsung s7. Unable to "Edit My Profile" in the app, does not function. Bummed out, wish I knew this before selecting for our wedding website.

I absolutely love the website! It's user friendly and offers everything we need. The app does not always work properly.

I was able to see the wedding pictures of my brother and sister. And I did not struggle, totally loved it!

I can't say enough good things about Joy. It has features for organizing the wedding information that I never knew I needed! It's much less cluttered and user- friendly than other wedding apps. I love the Guest List and Moments features - truly useful for guests and organizers. Absolutely love it!
