Bohemian Rhapsody Experience for Android
The Bohemian Rhapsody Experience offers a journey through frontman Freddie Mercury’s subconscious mind and recreates the sensation of being onstage with the band, with visual and audio elements that respond to your movements. The content is also available as a 360 degree video for you to experience even if you do not own a VR device.
For the best viewing experience set your Android device to airplane mode before opening the application.
The experience is compatible with the following devices:
Samsung (Galaxy Note 5, S6/ S6 Edge, S7/ S7 Edge)
Google (Nexus: 5X, 6P)
LG (V20, G4, G5)
HTC (M9, 10)
OnePlus (3, X)
Motorola (Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force)
Meizu (Pro 5, Pro 6)
Sony (Xperia Z5, Xperia X)
Asus (Zenfone 3, 3 Deluxe)
As a big Queen fan I was excited by this idea. However, after numerous attempts I gave up. The furthest I got was the "tap here to continue" page. Airplane mode, reboot, clear caches etc nothing got it working on my S5. Sad now....
OMG!!!! I've always loved Queen, Freddie Mercury especially. Bohemian Rhapsody was my favorite Queen song and I didn't think I could love it anymore. We'll you proved me wrong. This, what you' email done, is a viual feast that you have created. We'll done!!
I was really excited to get an opportunity to download and watch this. Installed it and fired it up on my HTC M8 - took over 2 minutes to load to point where it asked if I wanted to view it in 360 or CardBoard. Tried both but the app crashes. Uninstalled now.
I played this on my Galaxy S5 and it works a treat and WOW. Truly immersive video/music experience. Imagine what could happen in the future if this is now because this is amazing. Heartily recommend it you see for yourself. Lots of people saying it doesn't work on the S5. Works fine on mine so not sure what's happening to others.
When I saw the promotional email for this app it had me thinking, "Is this the real life?" and I raced to the Play store to download it. Soon after downloading, installing and trying to run this on my Nexus 5 using Cardboard however I quickly came to realize that, this was just fantasy. I was caught in a landslide (of device crashes) and there was no (VR) escape from reality. I opened my eyes, looked at my device... crashing. I just rebooted, I need no sympathy. Reviews are easy come, easy go, rated high, rated low. Anyway to fix this? Kind of really matters to me... to me.
Just opened logos on a black screen and then went back to app. Thanks for wasting my time. Not a very good tribute to Queen. This may be malware of some sort. Wondering why it needs permissions to my phone. I should think the Nexus 5 is one of the most popular phones and it doesn't work.
App doesn't work. Just keeps force closing when it gets to the choice of 360° mode of cardboard mode. On the last attempt at running it caused my phone to freeze which meant I had to reset it. Google is promoting this app on their home page, so you'd think they would make sure it works properly. Very poor.
I really want this to work, but it just keeps crashing during start up. It gets as far as the Queen logo after choosing the cardboard option and then crashes. Please, please, sort this as I would love to experience it.
Requires a newer device to work properly given the complexity. It is a cool visual and musical experience. If you like Queen you'll love this. Be ready to stand up! There are stuff to watch in ALL directions, including up and down. It is a lovely tribute to the band and the man and this song. We lost so much with Freddie's passing. AIDS has taken such a toll that it stands with the deadly diseases and maladies of our age, from cancer to addiction to AIDS and beyond.
I'm not into the VR viewing... So after trying it I'm definitely not interested in VR viewing but the video was well done. I downloaded to my ZTE Axon 7 and it ran very well. I used it without a unit and it was beautiful... Great remake of this classic song. Don't download on an underpowered device...
App is buggy on OnePlus One. VR experience especially in terms of graphics quality: top. Music video in terms of storyline, choreography, etc.: rather meh, could be better. For all OPO / custom ROM users: change your battery mode to max/performance. It doesn't work otherwise, at least in my phone.
Saw it pop up during a (what else?) Google search and figured, what the heck. No Google Cardboard / VR, but definitely want to do that now. The 360/non-VR was amazing all by itself. I would happily welcome Google world domination at this point - well, after they complete my Fiberhood anyway. I have a big Google box in my yard and am pacing the floor like an expectant parent...
Out of this world, a true wow with everything that goes with it. Use cardboard and this time really really impress your friend to jaw dropping effect. Everybody claims that but this app truly does it. . Can not describe you just have to experience it yourself
An amazing experience and I don't often leave reviews. To all you whiny babies with an old or crappy phone stop whining and get a newer phone. You can't expect a state of the art experience on old tech fools.
Yes, it force closed the first time I ran it, but no issues since then. This is part The Wall, part Heavy Metal, and 1000% Queen in all their glory. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and will continue to do so for a long time to come!
This is everything I have ever wanted from a music video experience. I wish all of my favorite ballads and jams from the 80s and 90s had vids like this. Mind blown. Worth multiple play throughs for different experiences. Thank you. I wish there were more. Peter Gabriel I'm talking to you... big time
Despite being invited to download the app and give it permissions. It didn't work. One would think a "this app is not compatible with your device" message would be in order.
Amazing, works on all kinds of 'Cardboards" I used my LG V10, and was amazed on how well developed this app was, would love Queen and Google to produce more of these form of VR song apps. Sadly its only a one song app.
Doesn't work on nexus. Is it possibile? When I press 'cardboard' mode It is closed it self without any crash log. P. S. Neither 360 degree video? Is there a web application? I'm so curious to see your work :)
After reading all the phones this app doesn't work on, I was worried. But I tried anyway and it's a beautiful video, working just fine on my BlackBerry PRIV! Happy dance!
Was excited to see how this would look in Cardboard. Too bad it can't go past the screen that says Tap to continue.
In the patch notes it states that this app no longer works with the S5. I don't understand why? I recently purchased google cardboard for my S5 and I'm having a hard time understanding why this app isn't compatible with it. I hope I don't regret buying the Google Cardboard...
The best VR experience I've ever had. For those saying that it doesn't work, the description states which devices are supported. Therefore your reviews for unsupported devices are just spam, right?
Google Play logo, enosis logo, then crash, every time. Received a response from Google saying they had updated the store listing to reflect only compatible devices, however my device is a HTC One M8 and is listed as compatible (as it should be, it works with every other Cardboard VR app), yet it still does not work.
Sounds neat, but I can't even get the music to start. It just hangs and then goes back to my launcher.
Whenever I try to launch the app, it gets until the Google Play logo, and after that, the screen goes black and suddenly I'm back at the launcher, no error message, nothing, it simply closes by itself. [UPDATE] At least the developers care about their app and responded to my review, if it is of help to anyone, my phone is a Moto G2.
Great song. Horrible naff artwork. Does not capture the energy of the song. It's certainly not innovative. Whoever paid for this needs a refund.
Using a Nexus 5 this app crashes (or just quits) after a looong time loading after the VR selection. Please make this work. I'm curious.
It gets to the Enosis logo, hangs there for about 2 minutes, and then exits with no error. I tried turning airplane mode on, clearing my cache, everything I could think of. If it does not work.
A magnificent piece of art - not only the music (of course), but also the 3D graphics, which couldn't have been any better. Thanks, Google, throw more of this kind of work.
Fun Stuff. However!... after watching and uninstalling this app the nagging slowness that I'd suddenly started seeing on my phone just disappeared. Why is this slowing my phone down when it's not running? Coincidence? Maybe, but I don't think so.
Really enjoyed this. It worked perfectly and is full of things to see around you. Couldn't have been made around a better song and the visuals were extremely well suited. Was good to watch through and will require a few more viewings to take in everything!
Now, do this with dubstep, and we'll have something to talk about. Seriously. I'm not saying to take anything out. I'm saying add a dubstep option and, specifically, I'm in.
I think this might be the best thing I've ever downloaded, I love it! It may also be the only 5 stars I've given. It works on my note 7. I hope they make more of these experiences. GREAT JOB!
I've had a Google cardboard for a long time but this has to be the most immersive thing I have watched on it. The video is beautiful and fits the song perfectly. One of the best executed VR apps.
I've always had some kind of a liking for Google. And they always give me the reason for that. Now, this is what I imagine the future music videos to look like. By watching the behind the scenes clip I'm sure it required a lot of thinking and work hours. But I'm sure the team must be very happy with what they came up with. Incredible. Hats off Google. Wish I was one of you guys.
While the song is by no means the "best song ever", it is one of the most amazing to experience. The addition of VR turns it into an amazing musical journey of exploration and discovery. Thank you, Google Play and Queen, along with everyone else who made this possible!
Best cardboard experience yet on my stock N6 - barely a stutter. I was twirling all over the place trying to see everything, I'm going to have to experience this one a few times I think!
Loads, loads, loads, then closes every time. Plus, it's a huge app. That's excusable, but not the fact that it doesn't actually work.

I downloaded and installed it on my HTC ONE M8 and did everything it says to do. It opens, starts and then crashes taking me back to the original app page for the app. So still no results. I was hoping to give a 5 star rating, but that's not going to happen until I can actually get to experience the app on my HTC ONE M8! I HOPE THAT THIS PROBLEM CAN BE ADDRESSED AND FIXED A.S.A.P. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!
