Wistiki by Starck for Android
GET AWAY FROM THIS APP I can't make the product work, it keeps telling me "Non-existant Wistiki". For a French startup, I can't say how much I am disappointed, it's just feeling like a 50€ scam.
I've used this app for months now, and not had any problems signaling to or finding my keychain, or with signaling my phone from my keychain. I don't understand what all the bad review are about.
Works well. Still waiting for that virtual leash function that was advertised in the kickstarter.
App does not "live track" my viola device (the "hot/cold" thing). I can have my phone with app running in one hand, the voila within 3 feet in clear line of sight, and it can take up to 10 minutes for the app to see it. Often the app will say it hasn't seen my viola for hours or days, but it's literally right there. If it can't track my keys, which don't move around on their own, how will Wistiki EVER track a pet?? It's virtually USELESS.
Arnaque. A ne surtout pas acheter. Service client inexistant même après plusieurs relance. 5000 telechargements seulement?
Ugh I put my right password but it says go to email and all that ughhhhhh I wish I give 0 starssss ughhhhhh
Everything works well but my phone's battery stat shows Bluetooth using as much as my screen (still as of July 20th). My partner has an Xperia z3c also on Marshmallow that doesn't have this battery drain issue.
The app has a great concept, and the phone part of it works very well. The device itself is a little bulky, and the tinny tone is hard to hear.
I feel like this only works about 10 percent of the time. Feel like I wasted my money.
It "sort of"works.yes I did have to use the app to find my car keys with a wistiki attached and it worked ok, but trying to find the phone from wistiki by pressing the button is just a bit hit and miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, so you keep pressing the button on the key but the phone won't ring. And it requires Bluetooth to be on meaning if your Bluetooth was off, no chance of finding it with the wistiki. It's not exactly terrible but not too impressive either.
Very useful

What I mean by that is whenever I lose my keys in the house the app has only been able to contact and make them ring probably half the time. When you reboot the phone and then press the button on the fob it seems to reset the device and the phone can find it again, but by then you don't need to find it remotely so it's useless.
