WiFi thermometer widget

ATTENTION: You need additional hardware to fully use this application.

WiSpherT° is a real Wi-Fi temperature sensor compatible with 802.1b/g standard. The WiSpherT° can be supplied from two standard AA batteries or from USB interface. It can measure temperatures from -40°C up to +60°C (-40°F .. 140°F) with 0.1°C resolution. The measurement period can be set from 2min. up to 60min.

This application receives temperature measured by the WiSpherT° Wi-Fi thermometer connected to your WLAN and presents it on the widgets on your home screen.

The application provides following functionality for managing temperature measurements and detected WLAN thermometers:
- four different temperature widget’s layouts
- changing temperature units C°/F°
- changing sensor name
- changing temperature measurement period
- automatically discovering new sensor available in your WLAN
- temperature history graph containing last 100 measurements

After installation, please go to your home screen, activate widgets manager (long press on the start screen) and select one of four available WiSpherT° widgets layouts. Then select from list the sensor, which temperature shall be shown on the widget. In case you do not have the WiSpherT° sensor yet, the list will contain only test sensor. This sensor is located in our office and uploads temperature data to the server, which are then received by this app. So, you can fully test the app even without having the WiSpherT° WiFi thermometer.

Known issues:
Some devices like older HTC Desire phones cannot receive UDP multicast messages and will not work with this application.
