Worthless for Nexus 2013. Will NOT save to external memory cards unless your device has a built-in card slot. External storage connected via OTG and emulator is ignored.

Well I would love to give a great review on this app, but I can't , because it is not designed for the people who need it. I can type on it, all my friends can type on it, the nurses can type on it, but the one person who needs to talk to me, who has no other means of communication can't go through the pain of trying on small keys. When you find the letter a slow touch from an older hand gives you a symbol that has no place in the English language. A full wòŕđ ļœķ§ łįķè äřâbìç or something. This is very frustrating for me as I have yet been able to find a text to speech program that has a locked screen with large keys that can give you the single letter that you are looking for that would allow communication to take place. My mother who is a retired RN has sudo Bulbar palsey resulting in no sounds at all but she is all here in her brain . She wants to find a simple app to use. DG

In an older version of this app, it used to let me save the file (audio), but now it has been updated when I go to save the file, it says COULD NOT SAVE FILE! It is very annoying but if they get this fixed again, then I would rate the app 5 stars.

A simple interface and basic options that should be in every TTS app should be enough to earn five stars. However, pressing the "Speak" button always forces the language installation process, even if all languages are installed already. I can't figure out what it wants, so I have to conclude that the app is simply broken.
