Did you try the timeout3g-FREE version?
'Timeout3g' switch the data connection (edge, 2g, 3g, 3g+, H, 4g) automatically off after a timeout on screen off in order to save power, and makes the connexion running on screen on.
Time before disconnection can be set by user.
Possibility to have an periodical reconnection for Push (emails check).
If you're using a taskiller, then please add timeout3g to the safe list.

This is a must have app. It works the same way as the HTC HD2 internal build setting for power saver. Tripples battery life.

Works perfectly. I use periodic wakeups and I am very happy with it. One suggestion: if you make an effort and add time schedule (e.g. use periodic from/until, completelly off from/until and similar...) for settings, then this would be 6 stars :-) Keep on great work. Cheers

I could be wrong but does the timeout stop when the screen lights up or when the screen is unlocked? Would it be possible to have a option for either?

Works flawlessly. Don't give it 1* if it doesn't work but email the dev who is very attentive & will work with you to try & find a fix.
