About Call Control for BroadWorks
Call Control for BroadWorks allows you to originate calls from your Android phone through your BroadSoft BroadWorks powered desk phone and enables easy control of Remote Office, BroadWorks Anywhere, DND and Call Forwarding settings while on the move. If used with an account that is a member of a Call Center, joining/unjoining and control of the Agent ACD State is also possible.
IMPORTANT: Call Control requires service from a BroadWorks powered service provider and the account must include the following services
- BroadWorks Anywhere
- Remote Office
- CommPilot Express
- Simultaneous Ring Personal
- Calling Line ID Delivery Blocking
- Do Not Disturb
- Call Forwarding - Always
- Call Forwarding - No Answer
- Call Forwarding - Not Reachable
- Call Forwarding - Busy
- Basic Call Logs
- Client Call Control*
- Voice Messaging
- Call Recording
in order to benefit fully from this app.
* Without "Client Call Control" call initiation is not possible.
Note that the default port for OCI/CAP communication is 2208 - or 2209 if SSL is enabled.
Regarding ICS / Ice Cream Sandwich & Jelly Bean:
The app works well on Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) and Jelly Bean (4.1, 4.2 and 4.2.1)- there are however some manufacturers that are a bit sloppy getting the device profiles updated, resulting in erroneously listing of apps not being compatible. If you have a 4.0/4.1/4.2 based device and the app is listed as incompatible, please contact support for a workaround.

Hi, This is a great app for Broadsoft. Nice to be able to login in and out of Call Centers and change how your forward, Remote Office and so on works. Been testing this for a week now.

I've only used this for a few days, but so far it has worked very well. I use this with BroadWorks Anywhere and like the ease of dialing without first needing to dial the portal. It would be even better if it allowed you to dial *11 when your desk phone is already in use, thus moving the call from your desk to your cell.

I use it to dial through the office so that I'm not giving out my private cell #; works great for this. Provider is ISN Telecom (ipFone) & setup was simple Same user & password as the Broadsoft portal and Enterprise Assistant. I'd love to see better dialer integration or "always on mode", silent/auto-answer of ring-back call (a la GV Callback), and it would be great if Remote Office mode didn't have to be enabled all the time to receive callbacks when Ring All is already enabled in Broadworks Anywhere.

I can't give a good or bad review because I was never able to get the app to make a call. My provider login was verified and the status said ready but I couldn't make calls. I suspect it is my provider's issue though.

This app only works half the time. I'm so upset cause I use this on a daily basis and the fact the it only work sometimes stop me from working properly. The worst is that I had to pay for this up.
