I like the concept of this app! Of course, the Pebble is not meant for typing long messages, and it takes a while to become good at typing with PebbleType, but it is the best way to send sms from the Pebble so far.

A good solution to everyone's problems, is to maybe add some options to the phone part of the app, example:Change accelerometer sensitivity and switching to buttons, that would pretty much destroy the competition, plus have less negative or hateful comments, hope you write this down, and like the comment if you agree :D

Please allow an option to use the buttons instead of accelerometer.

This is a great solution to texting on the Pebble without having to constantly press one of three buttons repeatedly to text. Now, with that bring said, the companion app needs fixed. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3, and when I launch the app on my Pebble, it said the companion app wasn't found even though I clearly have it. It always does this unless I opened the companion app within the last 5 minutes, and that takes away from the fact of not looking at your phone. Thats just a big bug that needs fixed!

Using accelerometer to text is actually a great idea and makes typing at a decent speed possible. For those criticizing and saying the buttons should be used I tried a different app that does just that and its slow as hell to type and thus pointless. Lets face it there's never gonna be a perfect solution to text on the pebble but I think this is the best one.

Now that it is working, I tried it... um... nah. Would be way better if you could switch to just using buttons. As it is, it is so clumsy and slow that sending a text at work is still easier to just walk to my phone or just use Glance with the configured message presets.

Maybe there should be an option to disable the accelerometer? And use the buttons to go up and down, because im sure eventually the accelerometer will die out.... and cuz id like that .nonetheless a wonderful app

Recently got a Pebble & I've been searching for an app that allows quick & easy text entry so I can reply to an SMS without getting my phone out. I just found PebbleType & that search is now over! :)

But using accelerometer for typing is really stupid.

Wish there was a way to calibrate where the rotation starts from. Getting to "space" feels a littler weird currently especially when you are looking down and trying to type.

I updated the companion app and reinstalled the watch app and it works now. But the sensitivity is way too high. It would be nice to have the option to scroll through the letter groups using the up and down buttons.

Been looking for this for awhile. I love it I just wish pebble would get their stuff together and release a decent app.

Pebble is stuck on "Loading threads..." screen. Running Pebble OS 2.0.1 with a Samsung Galaxy S4.

Works perfect. Also, it made all of my wildest dreams come true.

Sorry made that long and confusing. Android if it detects a app is causing a problem on startup Android goes into safe mode, And this app caused my galaxy s3 to go into safe mode. If you figure out why that would be awesome because this is a great idea and the app worked. It just caused a major problem.
