15winks is a mobile dating App where users meet other users through 15-second videos. The videos are your profile. Period. It’s fun and easy.
All videos are recorded by your mobile device camera and are date-stamped. 15winks eliminates "cat-fishing" and phony or stale profiles while creating a much more appealing and fun online dating experience.
The number of allowed videos depends on whether the person is a user of the basic free services or a subscriber of the enhanced services. One of the features of the subscriber (enhanced) version is the ability to create up to ten (10) 15-second videos. Users can recreate their videos as often as they wish in both the free and subscriber versions.
The App allows user searches based on user preferences, location and notifications.
Users are provided with options to allow others to share their videos on select social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+. The default setting is set to not share.
The App is free to download and use with limited features.
-A free user can upload ONLY one video (introductory “hello” video), view unlimited videos of others, wink (“like”) at others and receive winks to his video and other notifications. A free user can initiate a chat with any other user. Communicating is absolutely free.
-Users who want to create up to ten 15-second videos into their profile can subscribe to the full-featured version through their already established iTunes or Google Play account.

No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.

It's about time that finally an app with the true meaning of dating has come on stream. I was telling my friends about it and they did not believe that such an app was available and since telling them it seems like they have told the whole world. I suppose the real difference is that there is no cat fishing meaning no way to lie. In just 15 seconds you can tell a lot about a person but when they upgrade for the very low price of $14.99 a month they get the option to upload 10 videos which are all 15 seconds. Now when someone wants to tell the world what they are really like they can make the first one early morning to show what their like after getting up, the next one could be lunchtime . Next one could be finishing work, then off to the gym, then heading to the cinema or beautiful evening stroll. Perhaps after that they may want to make a video showing them playing the guitar and singing or heading out to a club to listen to a good band. Just think about it, someone viewing all your videos which would equal 150 seconds would know more about you and your personality than if they were dating you for 6 months, all this without sharing their personal details with you....

Should be called 1 wink. After creating a profile was ready to do some searching and found no one was near me, in the U.S. Found one person in the U.K. with a video of an actor as a greeting.
