Meru Cabs for Android
Today, I took trips twice and both the times , driver forced me to pay them through their personal Paytm numbers and both times Meru has also deducted the amount from my Paytm account on their app. Informed in morning but no amount refunded. 397 + 320 need to be refunded. This amount already paid to both drivers. Very disappointed.

Useless app. I booked CAB for Airport one day in advance. I got message and CAB details 30mins in advance of ride as informed while booking. The driver called me and asked me the address.I told him to use GPS location still he insisted to tell me the route which i told him ans still insisted to use GPS location. After some time driver informed me that he has reached destination which was 3kms away from location.I feel it was not driver's mistake.This seems to be problem with app itself.I had to be on phone for almost 20mins to tell the route to driver and this all happend early morning 3.30am which was really annoying. On top of that when ride was started driver told me that meter is not starting so I had to call meru customer care and confirm that ride has started. I feel Meru need to seriousely work on app improvement.I had no choise as it is difficult to get UBER and Ola in my area early morning.
This review is for Meru app and not for the service rendered by Meru cab. I never ran into problems because of their service, but the app is a mess. I used it to book a taxi till Bangalore Airport on 19th August 2017. After the trip ended, both driver as well as I started refreshing the app for acknowledging the end of trip, which the app was simply not accepting. The actual fare can be known only then (which itself is pretty bad). I waited for around 15 mins there waiting to know exact fare from either app or email. Since I was getting late for my flight, I finally had to give 900rs to dismiss the driver. Much later, I got email from Meru that the trip fare is 691rs, which means I over-paid 200rs. What's the use of that receipt to me when driver himself might have gone back halfway across Bangalore? Other than this, the map just get stuck in between and doesn't update the location of cab.
Worst cab ever. No proper communication and worng navigation.. they charge extra and unexpected. They will charge more than the fare they so show while booking. But not to go for this cab..
Meru is not at par with competition, old cars, shabby and shaddy drivers, you book thru app which is slow . driver and customer service are aware about the app and payment issues and they force you to pay in cash on reaching your destination.++. You are paying more than ola and Uber, not worth the pain
This app is very useful and Meru is providing cab service at reasonable price all the time in a day and area is also good it is providing the cab all over West Bengal.But Meru should increase more number of cars available immediately in the road specially in Kolkata comparing with Ola and Uber.
Very bad cab service. This is second time that a driver denying the duty. This cab takes 1 hour to reach airport terminal from entry gate. One must use ola and uber instead of meru.
First Booking pe 50% off tha custmare care pe maine cab book ki mujhe 50% off nahi mila aapke executive ka kehna hain aapko application se book karna chahiye tha toh milta, Lekin mere bhai cab toh aap ki thi paise toh meru company ko hi diye, Aapki ye policy hain toh aapke executive tabhi batate kyun nahi
Well i didn't received a proper response on the mail. Like what action are taken by MERU. I came from Airport to Dilshad Garden and ur cab drivers refuse in the midnight

It's very great to see Meru in my app as it has always been great riding with Meru but we don't have sharing in Meru this is a drawback need to upgrade this

Very misguiding . Don't believe their exactometer ever. While booking through their app i used paytm to book from airport to home, and it nowhere said that toll charges are extra. The driver still asked for cash at the toll gate. I travel cashless everywhere. Customer care said that we always have to pay in cash. Where is the bill that I paid for the toll charges? This is stealing money. Uber and ola always contain the final amount and everything is payable cashless
Pathetic experience with Meru cabs. They feel they are the most superior cab services however they are the most horrible one. Drivers always deny duty or just switch off their phone. Downloaded it yesterday and uninstalling today. Worst company worst services
Having money in my account, the driver asked me to pay cash after reaching the airport. I wanted an SU V but the app booking button didn't allow me. The car was small. The driver said that we have too much luggage and said not to keep the trolley bag on the seat as the seat gets damaged. Then we kept the small bags in the front seat and went to the airport. He stopped on the way for 5 min at a restaurant to pick up his lunch. It was a terrible experience.
Worst app ever,I recharged wallet of 1000 rupees and had one ride in December 2016.I had approximately 700 rupees left in my wallet. After four months when I tried to book cab, my meru cab wallet showed 0 rupees left. I lost my money and when I contacted to meru,they did not give response properly. After reading my comment don't reply that hi Neel we are sorry and if you really feel sorry give me back my rupees.
Just pathetic. Never go by the fare estimator as it is faulty, you would end up paying close to 1.5-2 times of the shown fare. There app is not capable of deducting the amount from your wallet so in the end you have to pay cash to the driver as according to customer care at 3 am in the morning they expect us to find an ATM and give cash since their system had a fault and wallet was not deducted. Ended up paying 900/- for the ride which was showing an estimate of 500/-. Dumbest and stupidest customer care ever. All they can say is "sorry I can't help you in this regard".
Meri cab drivers are charging toll charges on airport drop while there is no toll on the way..also they deny giving any bill..ask for bill after the trip if you have to board the cab.. dropped a note to feedback team as well
This is the worst app in the history of worsw apps. I have booked a cab with ETA of 4 mins. When i called driver he asked me to explain the route, which i did. Apparently they don't have good navigation. After that his phone went off. ETA kept on increasing and i have waited for around half and hour. Then meru guys cancelled the cab. Worst app. Dont rely on it. Go for uber or ola else
One utter useless service. Each time you have to call customer care for soft copy of the bill. And you will not get the bill copy even after calling the customer care. Don't feel like using it again
Adamant drivers with mentality of those rickshaw Walla who do not want to go to particular route and they say "Rely on us". Payment not deducted from my wallet. Nearly 1.5 times rate higher than ola or Uber Are these reasons not less to stop using Meru? I have seen review and meru comments, except for asking to write an email and apologies nothing seems to be learnt

7 months after last failure of cashless payment it happened again. The app based cashless payment is a hit or a complete miss. Cashless is a hit or a miss!! And if you miss, there is no option but to pay cash only!!
Drivers completely unprofessional either trying to take long routes or refusing pick ups if they don't like the drop destination. APP looks good but doesn't actually get you any cabs successfully.
I had the worst experience with Meru Cabs on Thursday, 6th July 2017 .I had to be at the Hosur Railway Station at 10:00 pm and had booked a Meru cab on the same day morning for a car to reach my residence at 8:45 pm. The Cab driver called at 8:20 pm and took the address, he called again at 8:40 pm and took more directions and did not arrive until 9:00 pm. When I called the driver's number I was shocked to hear that he can't able to travel to inter city as because of state permit issues.! I called Meru and confirmed that the driver refused to travel. By now it was 9:10 pm , I gave up on Meru and succeed in getting another private taxi and just made it for the trip. The question is what these people assigning cab drivers even i clearly booked for an intercity travel (Electronic city to hosur) from their website? I would strongly impel people to dont use Meru cabs , because they are extremely irresponsible and completely unprofessional. As for me, I will never ever take another Meru Cab in my life;
Exactly opposite to what they claim. Totally unreliable. Always have a back up option at least if you are booking Meru for rides as important and urgent as airport drops.. !!!

Almost useless. Booked cab to airport using Paytm payment mode. After reaching airport, it still says 15 mins to reach and Paytm payment was not processed. Finally driver asked for cash. I ended up paying ₹980 in cash and the receipt I got from Meru after discount is ₹857.
