If you want to make it valuable: give vendors a QR code for each product they are showing (e.g. each wine available to taste), then allow the user to scan the code and keep notes on each item.

This app barely works properly on my Galaxy S3. In the several times I've tried to use it, the app nearly freezes my phone. The few times I was able to enter my name and email address and set preferences, it was forgotten the next time I tried to open the app. Most times I've tried to use the app the buttons don't respond, so I can't even get past the demo mode. I have similar problems with their mobile site - display glitches and mostly unusable. The iPhone version of the app (and mobile website) work fine. Whatever toolkit was used to create this event-specific app, I would avoid like the plague. I'm not sure how this app ever made it through this developer's internal QA process.
