Pilot Windstar

Pilot Windstar is an android native application designed by pilots, to help compute heading corrections, and ground speed quickly and easily for the 8 cardinal points. This information can then be transposed onto a windstar to aid in pilot navigation and diversions.

Designed primarily for student pilotd at all levels of training (PPL/CPL), Pilot Windstar aids navigation and diversion techniques. Simply enter wind direction, windspeed and true airspeed (TAS) and let the app do the work for you!. Groundspeed and Correction angle are then displayed for each of the cardinal points providing a quick and easy lookup.

Use it for navigation planning, diversion techniques, or planning drift in the hold. Take the mental stress out of practical diversions.

The windstar app is based around the theory of maximum drift, and compatible with many teaching techniques including the Navigation Ruler DP-1, available at www.digital-innovations.co.uk
