About Xradio ADS-B Receiver Pro

View real-time weather, traffic, TFRs, and other flight data on your tablet or mobile device with the ADS-B on USB receiver software.

This software requires additional hardware for proper operation. RTL SDR Hardware on Ebay

The hardware packages include:

This includes the following FAA maps:
a) World Aeronautical Charts
b) Terminal Aero Charts
c) Low Enroute IFR Charts
d) High Enroute IFR Charts
e) Sectional Charts

A long press on the map launches a popup that provides all the text based weather products for the selected location:

This includes the following weather products:
a) METARS – current conditions
b) TAFs, - forecast
c) NOTAMS,
d) Wind direction and temperatures aloft
e) AIRMETS, SIGMETS, & PIREPS
f) Special use airspace info.

A popup button launches the graphical weather products Nexrad, Graphical AIRMETS, and Graphical SIGMETS.

Hardware is available from the link below.
This is the perfect backup to your certified panel mount ADS-B system, also it allows you to verify proper operation of your installed equipment.

No coverage for india ... not at all good for Asian countries... Will like to get a refund

This app borrows underlying features from Avare and adds the capacity to manage a software-defined radio for ADS-B "in". By-in-large, it is "Avare with weather and traffic". That being said, it is not the latest Avare or to be more clear "there are features in Avare that are not in Xradio". If you are a VFR pilot and simply wish to get METARS, winds aloft, PIREPS, etc, this is not an issue. If you are an IFR pilot and want to see yourself on "geo-referenced approach plates", you will be better off with "real Avare" and some other app to run the radio. The Xradio software will not show your position on the approach plates. There is also a some difference in making a flight plan too. In "regular Avare", you can "long press" on an airport and chose "direct" or "add to plan". Xradio's version does not allow the "add to plan". I am in IFR training right now and want to see my position on the approach plates. For that reason, I will probably NOT RUN XRADIO during training but rather run Avare directly (and pursue another radio management app). All that being said, the hardware purchased through Xradio is quite good. Best regards, Todd L

Worked right off the bat

Operates in accordance with the minimum operations procedures when used with the rtl-sdr

Works well on a Doogee 310. Unfortunately, I see less than half the aircraft that the same USB dongle detects when connected to my PC. Not sure how this is possible...

Using generic rtl-sdr stick with otg. I know, I'm a nerd, but I like seeing all the strange things I can do with a $10 piece of hardware.
