Locale Password Lock Plug-in

Exactly what I needed...locked by default, but unlocked at home!... Stopped working since Android 5.1

I don't know if it just doesn't work with Android 5.1, or if there are other issues, but the dev hasn't responded to email requests for help. When first installed, it wouldn't turn the password off. After a phone restart, the password was off and the plugin won't turn it back on.

Admin rights are jacked on 5.0 lollipop Moto X. Installed and it never worked right...too late to get refund

Very handy plug-in to Locale. Worked 99% of the time, but now with the Android 5.0 update it is not functioning properly. Hopefully an update will be issued shortly.

I have Tasker, but despite a couple of hours of frustration, I can find no way to make this work or any documentation whatsoever.

This is exactly what I needed! I would like to see a log which can be queried on when a pass was set and reset and for what reason.

I tested before I closed Tasker. It didn't save my password, so no pasword would work. That sucked. Now I can't lock my phone until I reflash.

Perfect for delaying password lock to an hour of standby.

Allows me to unlock potential of lockscreen gestures on Cyanogen mod.

Id need the other lockers too, password is too fiddley to type.

Works as advertised. N1 running stock froyo. Using it with tasker for more intelligent locking scheme.

The locale plugin loses the fact it is licensed every few days and doesn't work until you go and modify it - then it's fine for some more days.

I use this with Tasker to have slide unlock on home wifi, in car dock and when connected to my blue tooth headset. All other times i have pin code.

I use this with Tasker so my phone is unlocked at home, but locked when I'm out and about. Works great!

Tasker can use this plugin to set or reset the system PIN protection. Another nice feature of this plugin is the delay. From Instant PIN protection up to 6 hours delay.

I run gotya so I want my lock to stay active, and only change the delay to lock. So I set a "state" in Tasker for logged on to home wifi. then set a task, pick this plugin and click edit, enter my code twice, set 30 minutes delay. for the exit task do the same and set 5 minutes delay. only thing I notice is the first time at home I need to unlock but thereafter I only use swipe screen unless its over 30 minutes. Most important to me it sets the delay back to 5 minutes when away from home the first time. Super cool!!

Could be better to have unlock logic like in Unlock With WiFi, i.e. when a unlock situation is reached to ask for a PW one time and then unloch without PW until unlock situation ends. Also I suspect that the plugin caused instability on my Galaxy S which forced me to perform factory reset.

Have it to work on any device. In addition, it remains even after an uninstall. About the only way to get it to be removed will be to reset the device. Have yet to get this app to be successful even on a dual core phone.

And there is no way to uninstall and I can't even get it to deactivate

Does not work with 'lookout' app.

Exactly what I was looking for, there is one issue I am having (Password doesn't enable immediately upon situation switch, unlocked until I lock it, the asks for password after that.) and have e-mailed the developer about once this is fixed I will award the fifth star. Galaxy Note 3, Android 4.3
