About Password Delay Full

"Optimal security, minimal frustration"

Tired of entering your phone's lock password or PIN every time you've locked your phone? Use this app to set a password delay so the password is not needed if you unlock your phone within the configurable time.

* The app itself is protected with the same password/pin so it cannot be turned off by a stranger.
* The app has a "Lock now" button to immediately lock your phone and enable your password.
* You can create a shortcut on your home screen to lock your phone immediately and enable the password.
* The app can't be used for lock pattern
* You cannot override another device administrator that requests a password (like a corporate Exchange)
* Checkout the FAQ on my website for more information
* 15 minutes refund policy is too short to test this app. You can refund this app any time by sending me you order id by e-mail.

Uninstall instructions:
Please disable device administrator before uninstall. Go to settings > location & security > select device administrators and deactivate the Password Delay administrator. You can also go to the app and press menu and choose the uninstall options. This way the administrator is disabled automatically.

Works well & lots of delay time options. I set my lock delay to 15 minutes. A simple slide unlocks within that timeframe & no PIN! Optimus S w/2.2

Although it works on the SGS, I was having issues with a really long boot time. Disabled this app and now it boots up lightning fast. Too bad....

I just got updated to lollipop on my Sony z3 compact and now once the delay it gets locked but after entering the password it keeps asking for it everytime you unlock. You need Tu turn app off go to seting to set swipe again for phone to no longer ask password. Please fix, I really love this app. Thanks

Hi, sorry to say, but after the timeout, when I push the power button, the screen comes on AND is unlocked, the phone is not protected. Then when I press power again immediately to switch off the screen, then press power again to switch the screen on a second time - that's when the screen comes on and is actually locked. Something clearly not working here. This even happens after I switch off the screen by pressing "Lock Now" in your app itself. I would ask for a refund, but I'd like it a LOT more if you could fix this for me, pretty please! Once it works properly, I'll happily make this a five star review. Thanks for your work! Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.1.2. Cheers, M. PS: Has the vulnerability directly after booting the phone, as mentioned by someone else, been addressed?

Delays a subsequent fingerprint login for x minutes, so it only requires a swipe. Massive time saver for me.

It doesn't mess with your default lockscreen or add a ton of unnecessary features. Perfect! I've looked everywhere and this is the best! EDIT: STILL WORKS GREAT ON MY MOTO X 2014 WITH 5.1!

Broken on 2.3. But great on 2.2! Delays password lock just like on good old Palm OS! :)

C70%

Works great on 2.2, but on 2.3, not so much.

I verified that my phone comes up locked when rebooting, which is important. Good job!

I love the convenience that this app brings, it is especially helpful when actively texting. However I found out that sometimes when the set delay time is up, and the pin/password is re-armed, the lockscreen password entering field is blank and I have to lock then unlock my phone for the password input field to reappear. Other than that small inconvenience, I highly recommend this app, especially if you have fully encrypted your phone. - LG Nexus 4

Works great. You might run into some bumps if you're not familiar with the Device Administrators preferences, but once you figure it out it works exactly as expected.

My Galaxy S2 prevented me using another app called Facelock Pro, - as there was no way of defeating the phone requiring a pin number. But this app can delay the pin number screen appearing for up to 6 hours. So, I was finally able to get Facelock Pro to work as the unlocker every time I want to open the screen, by pressing the home button or the on/of side power button. And by the way Facelock Pro when "trained" recognizes you instantly, even in poor light. So, get both these apps, as they work together and are great. Don't be surprised that when you first turn on your phone each day (or after 6 hours) you will encounter the numeric lock one time only.

Works great. You should put in the faq that it works on reboot only if you set the default screen lock.

So far so good! I'm am using an LG Optimus S. I only hope the developer will update for 2.3. I previously purchased "Lock Delay" and that developer decided he didn't want to update his software from 2.1 to 2.2. I wish Google would just build this into the OS. Thank You Mr. Stoker.

Tried Delayed Lock by J4velin and had nothing but problems. This is the one!

I was tearing my hair out having to put my pin in every time the screen went to sleep. This app lets the screen go to sleep, but doesn't lock the screen until the time you specify. Thanks for a great app.

Works perfectly on galaxy s2 just what I've been looking for and well worth the money. User friendly too, thanks.

A must purchase app, works beautifully on LG Optimus. Only gripe is that it does not work with a password patten.

Nice, simple & works perfectly on my Galaxy S2, unlike another I tried! Very good.
