Wake Up Screen for Android
The power button stopped working on my phone. Now I can shake it to wake it up. Thank goodness! No need to buy a new phone!
flawless
I am glad I bought this when I had my nexus 4. Now in my Nexus 6 with latest update it works wonders. Thank you
Not quite what I had in mind for my phone but for my tablet its great since it in a case and I can't reach the power button.
fantastic !works just the way they said it would I was so tired of playing around with the on and off button stickig.
Please fix this as it will drain the battery faster. Any new update in 2015?
Great that you can restrict when it is active, bad that our drains the battery for such a short amount of time
That works all the time.

Works great!!
flawless
My power button died tonight. Tried a few different things found online, and another app, but this is the only thing to work. Thanks!
I got this installed on my HTC one X to save the power button... Removed after I found out it keeps cpu on all the time never goes to deep sleep
it's working well. uses too much battery. need more functions to save battery: configure to sleep in some time slot,ie in evening, abd other ways to save battery
I've got HTC one s and broke the power button so when my screen sleeps I'm unable to wake it because this is what the power button did but this app does exactly what it says great app recommend to anyone with same problem.!!
Works great for me on my Nexus 7! I use my N7 to take notes using a stylus while reading (paper) books. I got annoyed that I had to use the power button every time I wanted to take a note, so now I put "Wake Up Screen" on the most sensitive setting, just wiggle my N7 a bit when I want to take a note et voila, ready to write! (I use it in combination with and app called "delayed lock" so I don't have to type my pin everytime it turns on) Great and fast costumer support as well!
Good for Huawei Y201 when power button doesn't respond consistently as that's the only way to wake up this phone. Drawback is the extra battery drain when this app is active.
AnyUnlock worked great by using volume keys after power button broke. Once phone auto upgraded the Android 4.0.4 AnyUnlock no longer worked. This does but by shaking vs volume buttons. I like volume button idea better, but this works well enough. 4 stars.
It is working like a charm. I did not really need it myself but I had to test drive it before I buy it for my not-so-tech-savvyy mum. Android 2.3.6 GINGERBREAD.UCLA3 And yes you can use it also even with the power button working.
Tried but this app doesn't work on Note 2.
..and it works perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy S II , I have previously downloaded a few other apps similar to this to bypass my power button but unfortunately I had to uninstall those apps since they weren't doing the job.. This one seems to work perfectly
Working great on my TF300. Save my power button.
Think about it. Your phone has one moving part, the power button. If that button stopped working you would have a brick. Save wear and tear on that poor little button and shake shake shake!
Works great for waking up the screen, just drain too much battery. Please find some way to reduce the battery usage, or I have to give up on it.
The only app of this type that worked on my tablet. Thanks.
Like other wake up apps I've tried, it works great in some instances and then not at all in others. I've played around with it over a couple of days and it works sometimes, but not others and I've been unable to detect a pattern of causation yet. Also, I've had to reinstall several times because I continue to have the nefarious licensing message appear, even after lengthy periods of use. If I can get consistency from the app it would be 5 stars. The developer has been very responsive to my questions.
It uses to much of my battery, a hole 26% of it was just used on this app alone, a good idea would be to check for shacking every 5 seconds, once it detects something it should check more offen for 1 minite, then go back to checking every 5 seconds again, I'd also like to see if we can wake the phone by tapping the screen
Works very well but second only to screen lighting in battery use.
Didn't really work for me on my Nexus 4. Probably just the way I use my phone, carry it in my pocket, etc. May work well on another device.
Works sporadically. Unfortunately you only get 15 minutes to try it out and it worked well for a short time. Will not buy another app with that limitation.
No siempre functions, favor de reparar
Awsome app, works charm, saves my buttons
Shake options work very well, thus the 4-star rating. However, I was looking for a proximity wake up method which does not work with the Nexus 10, I'm assuming because the device has no such sensor. Maybe the next gen Nexus ten will have the sensor. Uninstalling and asking for refund.
A useful app especially if like me you own an HTC one with that akward flush fitting wake button on the very top. I've actually removed the app now though because using the proximity sensor depleted my battery in a little over three hours. It would appear the CPU stays active whilst sleeping. I've tried the SHAKE setting but it wasn't working consistent enough on my phone..
Killed my battery life on galaxy s4. Seemed ok at first, but it's bad. Worked well on galaxy s2 with broken power button, but also used the battery up in a few hours, so not really a solution.
This is exactly what i had been searching for! My tablets power button broke and i had to plug it in to wake it.. but no more! 10/10
World great on galaxy s4
Power button on Galaxy SII broke a few nights ago and this has been the ONLY app that has worked! Totally worth the $3. Thanks so much!
Saves me time. A lifesaver if ur power button is busted.
