I own one of these wireless bridge devices and the app controls it with no issues. If you want to turn your phone into a hotspot this is not what this app does. This App controls the Wasser Connect Bridge device which allows you to sign it into any Wi-Fi and give you internet. From that device in your home or yacht/RV etc. Its like a remote control for roku. You can't download roku remote not own a roku and expect to have all the features of a roku just because you have the app. I sign this into my network at home and then sign my bridge into xfinity or any RV park Wi-Fi and my RV then has free internet for all my devices. Its nice. When I am home I take the box upstairs and plug it into my home router and get free internet at home as well saves me 80.00 a month.
