Great product for the money. App works well with all my hardware. Only knock, tune in and i heart seem stripped down. Missing some of my favorite stations. Had to drop rating from 4 stars to 3 with the loss of Pandora. I subscribe to spotify, so it didn't ruin the device for me like others, but I admit it does suck. I have found the device to be reliable, so I will hope for continued improvements on the app side.

Music constantly gets interrupted, some songs can't be played. It's not their format though, I checked the status and it said WiFi connectivity 34%. All my other devices are at 90%, the router is really close. Sluggish to move around in (even accounting for handshake steps that understandably take longer). Side-note: it's hard to stream from other apps (YouTube, Soundcloud) or a Windows PC, so watch out if you were thinking of doing that.

The Basic functionality of this app could be improved with the addition of just a few more functions. It would be so helpful to be able to tag multiple songs and folders to build a playlist rather than having to add each song one by one. The ability to play a folder or album instead of having to add each song to the queue would be the single best improvement for this app. Appending a song to the play queue instead of pre-pending it would be nice. As far as the skipping and choppy playback is concerned, my tests indicate that the multi room Wi-Fi amps communicate with each other over Wi-Fi even if they are all plugged in to Ethernet. If there is Wi-Fi interference or signal issues, some amps will drop out until the signal returns. This amp has potential but the inconsistencies in the solution have mostly just frustrated my family.

Excellent concept and delivery, at a very competitive price (compared to Sonos, and other piecemeal, makeshift systems), but it is extremely limited in its basic, and standard functionalities, compared with other music apps. While the Dayton Wi-Fi speaker ecosystem has 10x the potential of beating out its competition, due to the price alone, there are a handful of basic features which need to be added into this app -- as of last year, and the year before that, etc. Once the company decides to spend the extra $100 (to hire a developer), to make thousands of their customers happy, I will NOT be recommending this system/app to everyone I know... It leaves much to be desired, and frustrated the youknowwhat out of me, just to get the wi-fi setuo in the beginning... Bottom line: The company needs to 1) make it easy/possible to access all music services, and 2) to set up any existing Wi-Fi system, without the pain and confusion of having to try and discover it, after hours upon hours of unproductive trial and error.

disappointed with app functionality. I seam to have limited access to streaming choices like pandora(now removed completelyhuge dissapointment ) and I heart radio can't add all stations which is kind disappointing I would be willing to give better rating when they get app access the streaming works well

The absence of Pandora support greatly diminishes this application's utility and appeal!

It was better before they dropped Pandora. You get iheartradio and tunein within the app, not really necessary to have both. I have never used Tidal, which is new service within the app. you can browse music thats on your phone and make a playlist from it, buts its cumbersome to do. there is a line in option, so you can use an old phone or some other device to stream Pandora or whatever you want, however you lose functionality so that you cant skip, pause, or adjust volume for line-in source. theres about a 1 sec delay from when you adjust the volume to when you hear the change. I had a hard time getting the streaming box to connect to my wifi, the app doesnt give very clear instructions

I've been very happy for the last few months using Dayton's WFA02 wireless streaming devices from Parts Express, especially activating "Super Definition" audio quality in the app. Signal strength reaches through walls, outside for parties and upstairs, no fading, crystal clear, fantastic audio quality through the Parts Express $99 kit including amp and 2 bookshelf speakers. Then came the BS, Pandora evidently forcing Dayton to strip out Pandora as "unauthorized," which is what this bullsht 1.7 "update" is! :( DON'T LOAD IT IF YOU WANT TO USE PANDORA !!!

I bought 3 Wifi adapters. Music cuts in and out. Quality of sound is erratic. Pandora was working but I tried to sync it to a second location and now it doesn't work at all. I thought maybe the Wi-Fi connection was week. Plugged them in to Lan and reset to factory to loose the Wi-fi. Same problems. Not at all stable enough to use. I really wanted to like this product but if this is how it is i will be returning them all.

Wanted to love it. App is totally lacking. Pandora option only allows you to listen to your account's existing playlists. NO searching for a mood or new playlist within the app. No music discovery. No option (on android) for setting zone alarms like Sonos. App would not locate my music on my harddrive. (Works flawlessly on Sonos). Needs a ton of work. Streaming services offered are too limited. Would try again if they can fix the software.
