About NFC ReTag PRO
Re-use/recycle write protected NFC Tags such as hotel key-cards, access badges, price tags, lift cards, key fobs etc...
You can use this app to associate multiple functions (e.g. Wlan OFF, Bluetooth ON, Mobile Data TOGGLE, start navigation,run Tasker task, start any installed app, use media buttons, call a phone number, add a timestamp, calendar entry, add Text-to-Speech and much more!) to a NFC (near field communication) tag via an app internal database. You can even add tag cycles and let your tag run different activities per scan. So ReTag is the perfect NFC automation tool for you ;-).
(Works with ANY android supported tag = re-writable AND write protected!)
With NFC ReTag you don´t have to write anything on the tag (-> uses the tag ID, great for small tagsizes and write-protected tags!) and NO data is send to the internet. Additional write options (for better dispatching, device independent tags etc.) are also available. Import of activity tags and beaming is also supportet.

You could combine any activities and add as many activities and cycles as you want per tag. (obviously except for writing activity tags -> depends on tagsize). For best performance and dispatching, write a special NFC ReTag tag (this is NOT an activity tag!).

Being able to repurpose RFID and NFC tags in new, useful and interesting ways can turn in to a full blown hobby with this app! It's a delightful challenge to come up with triggers for all sorts of tasks especially once you add Tasker, IFTTT, and similar apps to your "projects". If you like to tinker with automation, you will love the possibilities this app opens up!

My Galaxy Note 4 won't write tags with proficiency. Spent an hour scanning one tag and it still hasn't written. Two hours and five minutes and this program has only written 2 tags.

Huge fan. Use this for lots of interesting things, syncing my emails without having to turn battery draining auto sync on, auto-connect to bluetooth speakers and play music. I like it a lot. Feels really great to be able to just drop your phone on a tag and watch magic happen.

Having the NFC function on my Note 3 had made life go so much smoother! I . User-friendly, but would be nice if it had updated logos and looked less like something out of the early 2000s. Definitely not a deal breaker. It works great, has tons of features, and uses minimal space and batt. To top it off, the dev is responsive to explanations & issues. As someone else mentioned, I too would like a way to connect with a specific BT device. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Car Mode on the Galaxy S4 4.3 is now Hands-Free Mode so it needs to be updated here as it doesn't work. And there is lots of options on the Samsung devices which could be added as toggles here. Air View, Air Gesture etc...

I think the other review lied. I can't get this to work with Amiibo's. Still looking for a way to backup my Amiibo so I can use it with other games. Can't blame the app because it doesn't advertise this as a real feature.

This app is great but for one issue: if sent to the background, there's no way to switch back. You have to completely restart the app. Sometimes hitting okay or save is enough to send the app to background & make you restart. Odd?
