WOW! Ultra TV

UPDATE: 6-19-16: WOW has gone to hell. Their customer service reps are the nastiest mofos Ive been forced to deal with in years. The men talk down to women, they lie about issues and blame anything and everything on a balance you may have. My bill is printed on the 16th....they told me my bill was past due...the one that printed 3 days ago?!?! Ill be OUT soon. I love all of it! With this app I'm glad to see WOW's working on making sure I don't give up any abilities I had with Brighthouse. Every aspect of my switch has been great I.E. easy, enjoyable, simple, etc. And this app is no different! Thank you WOW! Good riddance to BHN.

Not bad, but needs a tv volume control added to the virtual wow remote. Also, there is an option to turn on "cellular streaming" but no apparent way to set it up further and watch wow tv on the phone.

Love this app. Makes it easy to schedule/manage recordings when not at home. Possibly my favorite feature is the remote. My IR sensor/remote are a little weak, but I can use my phone as the remote from anywhere.

@Larry yeager I'm with you. The app supports streaming to your phone but WOWWay does not allow this feature. Huge bummer

I've been attempting to log in for four months. Error says no media gateway associated with the account. Called WOW many times but no success thus far.

Trying to search for a program? Good luck. That feature is awful.

It used to work, now it won't recognize the log in. It's crap. This CATV company is is crap. Be getting rid of them soon. They're so messed up they still, after 9 months now, do not have our address correct. Worst CATV company ever.

Charge $68 a month for 5kps Internet, and refuse to upgrade your speeds in my area!

can't record show from my phone anymore for the last 2 months. it used to work. I was told it was an app issue.

Wow Support says "You cannot change the channel with this app" Yet the app has that feature and folks on various forums state they use it to change channels. All wow support, WoW

I don't think you can even watch TV on the app very disappointing

Sucks tells me that my box numbers are not on local network. Will not work

Doesn't show any channels in the guide anymore. Just shows a blank screen

Would be better if was like other carriers and could stream shows from live tv or on demand on the app and even a step beyond the others would be to watch recorded shows through the app

The Remote part of APP does not work

Works well for informational purposes; however, I cannot get it to connect to the media players to select a recorded program to watch. Also cannot get the remote functions to work.

This app is the easiest way I see to search programs for recording. Their web site is useless for scheduling the dvr. Can't set a program to record unless it's active in the guide. The app sees 2 devices but refuses to control either one. Remote says it can not connect to either device. I have tried the app both on my Android phone and tablet with the same results.

We can set parental controls, change channels, delete channels, from kids' tv media players without being in front of their tv, can set ratings, limits, etc., then sync app with media players, I changed name of players so I know which one is which, using gear icon at top. Can also use as remote or keyboard for tv

The guide has NO program information. But that it probably because it won't change from April 20th. I've tried to manually set date and hit the "now" option. It just stays April 20th.

Very disappointed that I'm not allowed to watch my recorded programs from my android. This app is useless it does exactly the same thing that you can do on your remote

I can set my DVR which is useful. I can use my phone or tablet and see all of my recordings, click on the play button AND... choose what TV receiver I want to watch it from? Why do I need an app on a mobile device if I am sitting in front of my TV? USELESS! I know it has to do with streaming rights, blah blah blah. Negotiate it and make this actually worth using.

Recently stopped connecting to remote on Galaxy Note 3. WOW Service worked me through it. :<) More reliable than that (standard) line of sight remote. Just can't tweek volume. You can check and set recordings & programs without interrupting the picture - in any room! COOOOLLLL!!!

Doesx not work real time on let me veiw a week in advance

It will connect at times then all of a sudden it will say gateway not on local network. Tried cutting off the WiFi and reconnecting but it doesn't work. Then it seems like I have to sync it to find it but it doesn't always work. It does come in handy when I can't find a remote

No option to view your recording or live TV.

Waiting for 2 years for streaming now.

This application is great at what it does, which is managing your recordings and making sure you have everything on your home DVR that you want to record. I'm looking forward to getting recordings set when I'm traveling overseas. The fact one cannot stream content shouldn't be a reason to downrate the application.

Would it be possible to add a demo mode so you can view how the app works so you don't have to log in?
