Baby So Real Firmware Update for Android
I'm tech savvy and I still can't get this garbage to work. I've updated the firmware and removed the batteries several times. I've tried my Samsung S7, my Samsung Note 10.1, and my wife's Apple iPhone 6 plus. What a disappointing piece of crap!!!!
I'm having same problem as everyone else. You guys have more than enough feedback That this isn't working. Fix the problem.
Update your doll then go back to the original app and it will connect! It's still lame and not worth $100. After its says take out the batteries you do that put them back in then go back to the original app connect and ta da you realize you didn't even need to buy the doll.
Says critical step and after repeating the steps 4 times still does not connect to multiple smartphones this is more like garbage patch kids
I have tried working this silly doll on multiple smart devices, and still with NO LUCK! Very frustrating and disappointing. Santa's elves are getting a bad wrap for either a poorly made toy or a poorly made app. My daughter's Christmas dream of have this baby working at 100% capacity has so far been crushed.
This app is crap! Doesn't connect at all! I have removed batteries & replaced with new & still won't work! Seems I'm not alone! I guess we'll all be waiting until at least the 27th before something can be done! Nice!
The app forces you to download the update app. The update app doesn't work. Completed step 1. Got to step 2 and saw a progress bar then a failure notice instructing to change batteries and complete steps 1 & 2 again. Have tried this at least 30 times and the darn thing won't connect.
Doesnt work clearly for anyone. My daughter is very disappointed. For the cost you guys should make it right!
This is ridiculous! A $100 doll on top of my daughter's disappointment is upsetting! She was so excited to care for her baby & can't! I'm a lifelong CPK fan,Im extremely disappointed!
Despite being visible to bluetooth, no pairing connection made. Cant' get past step 1. Very disappointing for my daughter on Christmas morning.
...... judging by the amount of 1 stars.... looks like Im not just stupid....this app just SUCKS..... the fact that most people are having the same issues and Customer Service and/or a developer are nowhere in sight....speaks volumes to the class of people this company is....you would think after all these years they would have top notch support for their "new era" dolls
Wow...thought this would be fun for the grand daughter and is a complete disappointment for her as the app will not connect to any of the Android devices that we have. I suppose this is why it has so few stars.
Doll will not connect. Update will not go past step 2! This is junk! Please recall or fix this so my daughter can have a toy that works!
Save your money for something that works. I'm thinking class action lawsuit based on the number of other people having the same issues. They obviously put the doll into production before they had fixed all the bugs and now the customer is supposed to fix what they could not! Doesn't say that in the commercial does it!
Funny how they bait parents into thinking this doll is so much fun but the app doesn't work. Need a recall and/or money refunded.
I like so many other's bought this for a Christmas present from Santa. It will not connect. I have tried multiple times with my Samsung Galaxy S6 and it says I need the firmware update. Start the download process and get to the point to where it says to remove battery. It stays stuck there and I have tried going back to the original download and it still doesn't connect there either. I have tried it on my wife's HTC One and have the EXACT same problem. Both of these devices are compatible according to the list of compatible devices. What a shame. Pay for a product and they can't support it . I should have returned it and spent my $100 on something else but kept thinking that with all the complaints, they would be doing something to fix the problem. Guess I ought to reach out to one of the local news stations to see if they can find out what's going on.

100$ wasted this piece of junk will not connect to the note 5, s7, tab s, or s5. Should have got baby alive. I expect my money back tomorrow when I return this.

I thought i was the only one having problems with the app i tried with several phones and tables android and apple and no luck at all the reason why i pay for this doll is cause my daughter was gonna have fun with it i promised something that didn't happened.
Same issue...it will not connect. Tried it on multiple devices same issue. Followed the steps in the troubleshooting guide, no help. Garbage!
Tried numerous times to connect. Took batteries out and back in countless times. I chose this doll over the baby alive POOR CHOICE!!!

We followed the steps 5 times...still just says critical step remove and reinsert the batteries...which we did. It is not working which is very disappointing

The worst app ever. Doll won't connect by bluetooth, so we will update it by the same bluetooth connection. Who was the genious that thought this up?
Disappointed after spending an hour explaining to my 5 year old it's not working and can't be connected, she ask if we can return it to Santa.
Everyone else is having trouble to.....please fix! She got this as a gift from her uncle, for Christmas and was all excited to use the app but IT WON'T CONNECT. Did EVERYTHING it said to do over and over......it even shows up on Bluetooth list but will not connect/pair........NOTHING
Please fix this app. $100 is way to much for a doll, but it doesn't even do what it is supposed to.

I bought this doll for my daughter for christmas and the update won't go pass stage two. This is unacceptable. The point of getting this $100 doll is so that she can interact with her tablet. And your offices are closed until the 27th? You should have anticipated customer service help on CHRISTMAS!!!!! Thanks for nothing
