About Pick Your Nose – Avatar Design
Do you know Whyville? Are you a Whyvillian? In Whyville.net, Whyvillians get to pick their own noses, or, in other words, make their own avatars. But the really cool thing is that the avatar parts they choose from are made by other Whyvillians.
With this first ever Whyville app, you can create your very own look and upload it to Facebook, Twitter, or even Whyville to make it part of your Whyville Wardrobe.

Been a member since 04 kinda grew with this site. I would love to see an akbars face factory app that would be glorious lol. This app is pretty great. Wish you could login though and access your own parts. Great job

I've never been able to use PYN on my iPad, now I can use it on my phone. Thanks, City Hall. Now, just to add login. c:

It's super fun, but I wish you could hook it up to your account and use those faceparts. Also, I wish you could go into akbars and maybe design something from there. That way you KNOW you can get those parts. Overall I love it and I'm sooo glad there's finally a app! Thanks CWs!

When Whyville launched as the first virtual world for kids in 1999, it was also the first place that kids could design their own avatars or "pick your nose" -- not only that, the 'face parts' were made by other kids. Since 1999 kids themselves have designed millions of face parts and 100's of millions of avatars. It therefore makes sense that the first Whyville app would be "pickyournose" which includes many examples of the wonderful face parts kids have made. We hope you enjoy the first version of the app and send us lots of ideas for new things to add - we want to continue to inspire your creativity.
