About Process Tracker Pro License

Thank you for READING the following BEFORE commenting/reviewing:

This is an app but it actually provides only a mechanism to unlock advanced features in the free version of Process Tracker. By itself, it does nothing at all. In fact, this app will not even place an app icon in your device's app collection. You can find it only via the installed apps in your device's settings app.
Both Process Tracker and Process Tracker Pro should work on almost all Android versions and devices. However, it has been tested only on a limited number of devices and Android versions. Please let the developer know, via the email link provided on this page, of any problems you may encounter.
Please try the free version of this app called Process Tracker before buying to ensure that it works on your device and achieves the desired results.
Please email me from the link on this page with questions, comments, or suggestions. Responding to reviews left by users is not the best channel to reach me.

When purchased and installed, The Process Tracker Pro license unlocks the following current features in Process Tracker:

You may select individual processes to show and hide in the graphic output.
You may choose the date range of data to be graphed. Choices include the last 24 hours, the last 48 hours, or all of the data.
You may specify the interval at which Process Tracker's background routine runs. Choices include once every 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 minutes. Shorter intervals produce greater resolution in the data but will increase the amount of data stored on your device.
You may specify the type of processes to be graphed. Choices include the All, Normal Android, System Android, and Low-Level processes.

If you have run Process Tracker in the recent past before installing this Pro License app, please be sure you remove Process Tracker if it is still shows in your device's recent apps list and then restart Process Tracker. This will force Process Tracker to look for and use the newly installed Pro license.

More Pro-only features will be made available over time. Thank you for supporting Process Tracker with your purchase of the Pro License app!

This has been very helpful in identifying misbehaving apps. E.g. it revealed that kindle is a shocker. However it needs some serious usability work. At the moment the labels on the graph can be unreadable, the fonts are tiny and some colours are impossible to read at that size. Also the flow for the most common use case, "identify the worst perf culprits", is a long way from intuitive: set a high CPU threshold, monitor, go to the process selection screen and look for the asterisks. Not intuitive!
