EZCam works with a number of vendors databases which can be downloaded directly via the EZCam interface:

A number of other vendors are supported and databases can be installed via SDCard or downloaded via a web browser:
- Scdb.info (European cameras including Belgian and Dutch)
- GPS Data Team (worldwide camera support)
NOTE: Mobile phones cannot detect radar signals from police equipment. This application like all others uses a GPS based location paired with a database to determine the proximity of known speed cameras.

One thing. MapaRadar db is said to be downloadable from apps interface. It's not. User is redirected to the website, to download the file and add db to the app manually.

Picks up all gatso cams and camera van hiding places too...any others you know you can add to database. Screen goes to off tho when I would like to be on...so can developer add on/off function on next update. Really good app excellent development. Edit. Got it in power options thx

The developer has done a great job at all the hard stuff - I wish they'd just add a few finishing touches to make it more personalised. I would like more control over when the alerts happen, how long they appear for, and to be able to "click through" to load the main app from an overlay alert. The biggest problem is that it needs to vary the distance by camera type, as mobile cameras can zip you from nearly a mile away! This should all be very easy to do (compared to all the GPS / mapping stuff) and would really be the icing on the cake. I emailed the developer with some suggestions but never got a reply. I also have to load in a very specific order to keep the bluetooth audio on my phone from cutting out.

After installing this app I went on a short journey to take in known cameras. The app alarmed twice for no reason and missed a camera that had been installed for the last ten years. Unfortunately I feel I have bought a pig in a poke. I wonder if I will get my money back .

Very good. On my Galaxy S7, there was no menu button showing so to start with I found it difficult to access the settings for this app. However, I found that if you hold down the 'back' button, the menu appears.
