Alarm Clock - Electric Dawn

I like that you can adjust all of the timings and the different sounds. Unfortunately the light is not bright enough to wake me up - probably my phone. I also find it annoying that if you touch it to snooze the noise or touch it accidentally whilst the alarm is on, the light goes off. I'd like an option to turn off the sound but not the light.

Reply to developer response: I emailed you earlier. Today's torture. Alarm sounded 20 minutes before it should have. Sunrise hadn't even started. Hit snooze, but it kept coming back on every minute or so. Tapped stop and music went off again a few minutes later. Randomly decides not to work on a day. Last few weeks it wouldn't work on a Thursday. This week it didn't work today, Friday. What's with that? Late for work again! Uninsulated! I want a refund as I'm not being late for work again! Developers, do you even check feedback, because you don't respond!

Great alarm. I love the gradual brightening of the screen. But the alarm sound is to loud. I'd give it five stars if the sound began soft and increased in volume slowly, just as the sunrise function does with light.

Love the app but find it annoying how I have to change the volume of the sunrise sound every day. I have it set quite quiet but after the next sunrise it resets back to the default volume which I find too loud ????

I absolutely love this app. I have tried a few similar but keep coming back to this one. I love hearing birds wake me up just like sleeping outdoors. The added light feature that gradually brightens works really well, as long as my phone is relatively close and the room is dark. This app is a keeper!

This is a fantastic app. Simple to use and wakes you up nice and gentle. I tried a number before coming across this one and am delighted with it.

Almost as great as 'Samsung smart alarm'. missing an option to name the alarm, and a dedicated 'save' button will be less confusing. Another good option will be to set alarm volume for each alarm separately.

Sweet. Makes waking up early easy. I like being able to adjust the timing of the sounds and light. Highly recommend.

Tested to learn and familiar with the app, used a couple of times to wake up early mane. But no trial was successful. It would be greater if flash light used for brighter light. The screen light solely was not bright enough when the phone was hidden even by a TV controller(so deducted 1 star): As a shift worker, I need several setting to use. If I could put title for each setting, also if enable/disable button could be more convenient to use it would be worthy to give 1 more star.

I love the gentle sounds of nature to be awakened by, rather than a loud, harsh buzzer. So far, the sound of birds singing have awakened me before light has, so I cannot speak about this app on that regard, but I used to have a clock for my husband who worked nights that we used for waking him up gently. I can speak very positively about this feature.

Excellent app. Author keeps adding features as needed and fixes bugs quickly. Helps me wake up a lot more refreshed!

This alarm is great - its a pleasant way to wake up rather than being annoyed by your typical alarm clock

I love this alternative to the buzzing/ringing sound of a normal alarm clock. It's easy to use and waking up to birds chirping is always a delight.

Great app. Wakes me up gently. As I get up before my wife it wakes me up without disturbing my wife.

The light scene is very nice & calming & it allows the user to add additional alarms & sounds, including personal music. This is the only app of this sort that I've purchased, so I'm a little bummed that it seems to lack features that other free apps offer, such as the ability to name my alarms for specific needs. Also, when I set an alarm, it only confirms the time, not a.m. or p.m. That became a problem a couple times when I thought it was set for a.m. but turned out it was set for 12 hour later.

I use this everyday during the week. It is a lovely way to awaken. Being able to set days for tge alarm, means no early rising for me on Saturday or Sunday

Update: moved to nexus 9 and crashes every day. Will uninstall. Original post: The gentle nudge of light makes me much more accepting of getting up when the alarm goes off. I've been waking to the sounds of Hawaiian birds. How great is that?

Excellent. Actually works well and is great on big screens for artificial sunrise light. Excellent for winter and very early mornings. Just need it cook breakfast too!

A bit quirky. At first didn't work on my HTC but developer was very responsive. It ended up working beautifully on both my HTC and samsung phones and my Asus tablet. Would love to see a Windows phone version!

Clean, smart, intuitive, easy to use, functions really well on my Note 2.

You may need to fiddle about with the time you set it for at first to get it to its brightest when you want or need it but after that you're set. I love it.

Simple and effective

Does everything and a bit more than my £80 Philips dawn simulator alarm which recently broke. Glad I discovered it before I forked out another £80 for a new one.

Especially when using a tablet due to the available light output

Works ok. But the light effect only lights up the screen and doesnt have any effect on the room light or me. I even tried having the phone next to my face and still no effect.

I'm having trouble with the settings. It's supposed to start getting light and playing sounds before the alarm time but it does not always do so. Also, my phone screen is too small for the light to be effective in waking me.
