Which? magazine for Android
Pointless app. All it allows you to do is download a magazine and read it. No proper search or reviews. It is better to either read the actual paper magazine or use the actual website via a laptop or desktop to search for reviews etc.
Won't let me log in When I use my username and password it says invalid credentials. The same combination works fine on the browser. Using a Galaxy Tab S3 on Android 7.0.
Great to have the magazine out with me wherever I go. The other review app is good too but you can't beat the "on test" results tables which are in the magazine articles... Those are in this app.
This crApp is a complete waste of time! No more magazines for me!
I often get "404 not found" when navigating to a search result. If I can't access the pages, the app is useless.
This app won't open. App crashes every single time I try to open it. Waste of time.
Does the jib for me!
Within this app the magazine doesn't have the same visual appeal as the printed version. Would much prefer a downloadable PDF edition that replicates the printed edition and can be archived on a PC without being format (ipad or android) dependent.
Files are too large. They could be much smaller, e.g. PDF. Why not save money and paper and send a PDF instead of a msgazine. The function to limit the number of issues on a tablet doesn't work. Still much easier to read the paper version. "Which?" Should be able to do better.
Unable to download new magazines as I was was able to. App is up to date, and settings tell me I have an active subscription. Looks like I'll have to go back to reading the magazines which isn't useful on the move.
App wanting to auto enlarge pictures and has issues with scrolling. Totally unreadable! After trying repeated reinstalls it still does not work. I was told a simple reinstall would solve the problems - no, it does not! Which? does now not recognise my email address, so I can't even sign in. IT'S ABSOLUTELY USELESS! Maybe it's time Which? should evaluate it's own shortcomings before pointing the finger at others. In one word - USELESS! Still will not scroll properly 4 Feb 2017. Freeze - freeze - freeze !!!
I don't need the whole magazine. I just need the appropriate article or report. Downloading the whole magazine is a waste of storage and download allowance. I can read the whole magazine at home.
It does not give access to what im paying for and the magazine im paying for i only got 3 of, this is app is a joke! I thought which was better than this.
Really useful source of information I would use on my Nexus 7, except that I get an error message saying "your subscription has expired". It hasn't.
Simple to use complement to the printed magazine. Good balance on graphics and text so it isn't just a pdf copy of the magazine
Ok, works well (mostly) but does not have as much info as the printed mag. The links to detailed results tables don't always work (eg air purifiers)
Appears to be just the magazines - you are directed to the website if you want to search for previous test results.
Shame there's no phone version
Everything appears to work seamlessly..... Love it..
For a tablet only app why does the Whats New inroduction only work in portrait mode
Good content but would be nice to have the option to save that (extensive) content to SD-Card rather than device storage. I've had to delete most of it because I don't have much device storage left yet I have tons of free space on my SD-Card.
Since my Nexus 7 was given a big lollipop this magazine (and New Scientist) crashes on opening any article. - - Now changed, upgraded, to a Samsung. Works perfectly.
App was wanting to auto enlarge pictures and had issues with scrolling. Totally unreadable! The magazine itself works fine via browser on Chromebook and Windows equipment. These problems still existed after trying reinstall 2 weeks later, although I was told the problem would be rectified - but when? After all, I do pay a monthly subscription for this service! UPDATE - After reinstalling the app for the second time, as advised, it now works fine. 3rd install = success! Now 5*
Back to saying I don't have a valid subscription. If I try the search facility it tells me my user name... Reinstalling doesn't help.
Thank you. Update on 30/11/2015 now allows for the changing of the font size. Works fine on my Hudl 1. Will try on my other devices.
First time I've used it and for the most part easy to navigate and find what you are looking for.
Downloaded this months ago but never worked, crashed every time, now it doesn't crash - brill!
Works very well on my Samsung Tab 4. But I am holding back TWO stars due to the inability to save issues to external storage. C'mon guys. It's not rocket science.
After the Marshmallow update, the App would not work. It's now back and fully operational again. Highly recommended.
Thoroughly enjoy being able to browse the various editions this way. The benefits of this app are many.
The comparison tables don't sort properly. They sort in alpha but not numerically. Give the developer a slap. Lazy.
Doesn't work on hudl2. Can't scroll down through articles
Keeps resizing the the text and pictures making it unreadable.
Many buttons not working
Completely unintuitive, slow, and unhelpful
Always great to have proper advice on items. App works very well.
It's really great app. I haven't got any issue with it yet.
Thank you
Everything appears to work seamlessly..... Love it..
