Tablet for WhatsApp

Tablet version of WhatsApp Web. Works the same as it does on a pc or laptop, with the exception of no voice or video calling. If there is downside it would be that you can only 'WhatsApp Web' one device at a time. But in honesty I rather have it on a tablet opposed to a laptop. And re-syncing devices is just a matter of re-scanning bar code so no real issue.

I installed this app not long ago and so far so good,. Easy to use, setting simple and nothing annoying found. i don't have to set up another Whatsapp AC in my tab. Good jobs guys / gals. The previous little problem is solved. Be it my wrong setting or the result of good effort of your team, you deserve a Five-star rating

Great when I first got my Tablet and worked a treat but now it loads up the intro/start screen but then closes before it gets to the full app and I get "unfortunately WhatsTablet has stopped'. Have force stopped, cleared cache and reinstalled but it still happens. 2 stars because it used to be great.

I already have Pushbullet for its remote SMS and text/image pushing features, but I needed something for WhatsApp, and I think I found it. Normally, if you try to go to WhatsApp Web on an Android device, it does not work and goes to the main website instead. Basically, what this app is, is a container for WhatsApp Web that makes it work on Android tablets, especially if it's a WiFi only tablet.

Great app to have Whatsapp (via your phone) on your tablet. The app works great. Only thing I seem to have issues with is that when I switch to other apps, when I go back to this app, the app has to reload everything (which takes 10 secs) before I can see all my messages. I also don't receive notifications, until I open the app. Seems like something goes wrong when it is put in the back.

WhatsApp is so retarded for not having multiple device support built into to it. Thank goodness someone else had the foresight to do it. Easy to setup, easy to use and best of all NO ADS. How can I support you guys with a PayPal donation? Thanks

Great app, almost the same and as good as the original. You can see more messages on a tablet screen so it's easier to refer back to earlier messages.UPDATE ... Anyone else had problems since the last update? The app just won't open now!

Same as my phone. It's great! I use it on tablet Samsung Galaxy. Only sad thing is sometimes when I want to share an article, whatsapp won't show up as an option. I'm wondering if it's my tablet or the site? And yes, I've tried looking into my settings.

There are some issues. Firstly, the display doesn't quite fit the screen if my Hudl2 so I have to scroll left and right. It should just auto fit. Please fix this. Also, needs an option to run as a service, otherwise I don't receive new messages with the app closed. Sometimes the date markers stick to the screen rather than scrolling with the page. A good app, but in need of refinement. Also, I paid, so please remove the option to pay from the menu. Irritating it still being there.

Except that from time to time, for no apparent reason, you get a "500 Internal Server Error" on an Android OS, with no further explanation. Looking up said error on Google doesn't provide help, neither does powering off and starting up the tablet again. And what's galling: after a day or so, the app starts up again without any problem. Several days later, however, shazam! same "Internal Error". This does not happen on a Windows PC, only on Android...

I use a Bluetooth keyboard with my tablet. For some reason in the app, the auto correct adds the word again. LikeLike ThisThis (it's actually difficult to do this using any other app) Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for the Samsung Tab S 10.5

Since update will not load. Opens up, I get the front screen and then reverts to my Home screen. Have tried deleting cache, uninstalling and reinstalling but no success. Contacted Jonas but no reply. I have been using this app for ages with no problem and gave it 5 stars.

The failure to recognize good number of cotacts in the Contacts app, makes it impossible to start communicatios with them. In the case of the Watsapp phone app, the impossibility to enable the microphone makes call and video communications impossible. The two stars are for the success to chat with and send pics to conact who was recognized.

Will not start up any more on my Sony Z4 since up date!. A shame as I really liked this app. Deinstallation looming. Please fix. Have fixed now happy to give five stars again! Great Application

Good in so far as it's loaded and I think it works. but give me a chance to try it first before you hassle me for a review!!!!! I will update to 5 stars if it deserves it when I've properly tried it out.

My old Samsung galaxy tablet can't use the latest version of Whatsapp but this nifty little app solved that problem. Keep making these apps for us old school folks. Thank you!

Works just like whatsapp on my S6 Edge + but its a bit slow and laggy. I am hoping this will be fixed or at least make the app a little more optimised in the near future

Hey all for whoever said this doesn't work: This app is using the WhatsApp Web technology... which means that your phone must be PRIMARILY registered in WhatsApp, and in your PC, where you use WhatsApp Web, it'll SYNC with your phone. It's typically like "PC >> Phone >> Server >> ..." that way. What this app does is that it ACTS like a PC so that you can use WhatsApp on your tablet.

Slight lag in receiving messages, missing what's apps video calling and voice call but for chatting purposes. It definitely holds its ground.

Only just downloaded but really impressed. I use my wifi only tablet much more than my smartphone but needed to revert to the phone for whatsapp chats. Now I can do it on the tablet. Much easier. THANKS.

It's good to have WhatsApp on a tablet but this app has a few problems. Videos won't play which is a big negative for me and sometimes messages arrive late and without notification.

There is always room for improvement. So far so good. The only difficulty I had was how to upload scan photos or screenshots but figured it out eventually. Good job developing this app for tablet.

A nice idea and certainly something many people want but unfortunately the implementation is poor. Despite using this app on a 10.1" tablet, the box I'm required to write in remains very small, especially in landscape mode. This may be due to the fact that this is simply a port of WhatsApp for PC and the developers have made no changes to the programme when prting it, but it is still an issue that makes this app unpleasent to use. If this issue was resolved, I'd happily give the app 5 stars. Galaxy Tab A 10.1.

Really pleased to find this app. I can now get my phones WhatsApp messages on my tablet. Was a bit tricky to set up at first (my fault, not the app).

Total functionality of phone version, almost. Only thing missing is the ability to share to WhatsApp, instead you have to share to clipboard the paste. Still highly recommended.

Seems to work very well, with no problems encountered so far. Would definitely recommend to all those who find using a mobile phone a bit fiddly when texting.

You get to send pictures and video's without worrying about the cost of it all. Video calls are OK the connection isn't always fantastic but it does the job

Can't hear voice notes, sending can be ropey too.. notification don't come through the app unless I have opened it either so I'm reaching for my fone instead of just getting back on my tablet... Nigley bits buy would make world of difference

WhatsApp is great on the phone, but typing a longer reply is a pain. This way I have access to my whatsapp when I'm on my tablet with a BT keyboard. Really improves my use of WhatsApp.

So glad when I discovered that there was this tablet version of What's App and then to find all the functions are the same is fantastic. I've only had it on my tablet for about 2 months, and have had no problems whatsoever with it so far.

The fact that both my phones have to be online makes me dislike it and I can't call. So its from 5 to 2 stars

It doesn't work for android only for smarts and Iphones so why? Also I read the comments and it says this is a good app well no and I hope people read this!

Does not handle videos well, having got a photo on the screen the ba. Now shows an indication of downloading videos but does not reveal the name of the file it is downloading nor where it is putting it. Check of standard locations (downloads - documents - WhatsApp) does not show any recent file. On my phone it says it is linked to two Win 7 machines running Firefox! They are actually two Android 6 tablets running Chrome! My PC runs Chrome on Win 10! I have not connected to my PC - if that is even possible.

The app is perfectly working, and exactly what I searched for - an easy way to use whatsapp on your tablet without having to create a secondary account. The design looks good, the app would be perfect if the emoticons wouldn't look as awfully blurry as they do right now which is the reason I'm only rating it 4/5.

So far so good, I broke my phone while on holiday, so I was unable to contact friends and family, this app was a life saver

I am very pleased with the result of this app because now it is capable for me to text on my tablet...there is no probelms,except if you don't open the app for a while it may have trouble opening...but all in all I love it

I only gave this app three stars for the following reasons.... when connected to the WiFi no problem there. When the connection is off a hotspot it plays up and only functions when it feels like it. And texting my contacts is ok, but I can't see how to call or facetime with them. Saying that with all things considered I've only had this app for two days and haven't really had time to explore it properly. Others I'm quite happy with it so for so let's wait and see what unfolds in the next few days.

Simple. You simple loads whatsapp onto your phone or mobile network device and this app enables you to pull up your account on your tablet and use your tablet for whatsapp. You will need to scan the barcode with your phone and then this app works like a charm.

Please remove the message asking for a five star rating or hide somewhere or in the settings menu. Its annoying to have it as a wallpaper.
