WhatGas Petrol Prices

For over a week insists NO INTERNET even though all other apps work fine. No app updates for two years... suspect app has been abandoned by compiler. Hope not as it was useful until this last week!

Why are people complaining about the prices being out of date the reason being is because the users that use this app have not changed or updated the prices it is not done automaticly by the app its self its down to the users to do it. This app is perfect and all prices at petrol stations near me are upto date so its how it should be.

Useful to locate filling stations and for price (provided we all keep these updated). Has potential. . . . .

Petrol prices app is much better and up to date

It is a simple and effective way to keep an eye on your fuel costs. It works for me. I like the widget as it makes it easier to use, I'm less likely to forget.

Need to be able to see prices on the main screen, having to check each station individually is far too cumbersome and time consuming.

I downloaded this app to find out local petrol prices. All the prices are out of date and it asks me to update for them! Useless!

I like this app, it's a great idea but it relies on people to update the prices. I seem to be the only one in my area doing it ( for free ) This app needs better updates and for that I suggest the devs consider giving some sort of rewards or prizes for people uploading prices

I've been making a real effort to update the stations in my area, and also when I pass a station when driving. Unfortunately, the update facility is very unreliable. It often doesn't register the change (or doesn't update the date of the change). It should also update the date even when the values don't change, so that it shows that the prices are up to date. This is a shame, because this app has potential, if you can get enough people to use it.

Good to be able to check prices. However there aren't enough people using the app to ensure prices are updated regularly. Some are over a year out of date.

Tried this app but of the petrol stations in my area , one was up to date but the other 2 showed prices 3 months out of date. Seems they rely on viewers updating prices and if that does not happen then they remain out of date.

Most of the prices are months out of date, some even years. As they change so quickly it means this app is totally useless.

In September they give prices from January :-D

Needs to be easier to use, bigger buttons so it's less fiddly. Like that it takes the current process across when updating prices

Prices may not be accurate but use the map to find that petrol station

Please don't moan about prices being out of date just update them yourself, that's the point of this app

Unfortunately not enough people in my area (Scotland) updating prices at their local stations, therefore making this app useless. I'll try to update it myself but feel I may be one of the very few people living here that use it lol. Great idea though

Relies on users updating so the accuracy is patchy at best

Great app really helps you find the best fuel price nearby, the user price updates are very useful and the more people that use and update price with this app I feel will not only make it even better but could also help drive fuel stations to be more competitive.

So many of the advertised fuel prices in the East Midlands are out of date by OVER A YEAR. Unbelievable but sadly true. The app is therefore useless as it is totally inaccurate. Please tell me the point of using an app where prices are "as of 15/10/2015"

Desperately needs more users. It's an app that can only work with more and more active users

Although the map shows my GPS position, and I can send/receive data, the app reckons there's no internet connection. Uninstalling. Goodbye!

All garage prices are two months out of date, and asks me to update. If I new current price I wouldn't need the app.

I agree with some of the other comments. The app relies on people updating prices and not many do. I seem to be one of the few people who do update in my area. But still a good concept and a very useful app.

So removing. A real shame as I was an early follower of the site & then the app.

Saving me money every time I fill up the car, great app, my thanks to the designers...

What is the point when it doesn't work but the take your email address only for spamming

The prices of three stations in the area have changed vastly since the 'latest' prices date two days ago, and it simply doesn't recognise that!

Untidy, but unforgivably very out of date prices. Waste of space.

The app is ok, but if is not updated I think is a little useless, is just a guide. And will be gate if you put the prices on the flags too.

Very good app to use easy also you can update at any time, this far the best, by Google, kept up hard work and kept your customers happy thank you.

Prices have sometimes changed by the time you have driven to find the cheapest one , therefore defeating the object of saving by a wasted or out of the way drive.

Easier just to look on supermarket apps than the this junk

Awesome app. So good and just what i was looking for. It keeps track of all mu fuel costs - I just wish/hope more people in my area would update the fuel prices more often or at all, other then that - it's user friendly, easy to use and a great concept. Thanks!

It's works brilliantly for those who are interested in local fuel prices and update prices for their local stations specially when the notification comes. This is very much like a social networking fuel price updater.

So out of date as to be useless

Very useful for when you are in an area where you not sure where the nearest petrol station is
