I love this app! I stopped using the white noise baby app because the sound would stop whenever you exited it. This keeps going, thank heavens. Our 1 month old loves the white noise and it has made the nights so much easier. Plus free is way better than buying a sound machine, with way more options too.

I downloaded a few apps before finding this one. I was looking for a good ocean waves sound but all the others had a very obvious pause in the transition from the end of the recording to starting again. It actually made it MORE difficult to sleep! This one is very smooth and the transition is barely noticeable! I love it! Perfect for me to get my much needed sleep!

Perfect! I need a fan or swamp cooler running in order to get sound sleep. Working out of town doing 12 hrs graveyard shift, I go back to the motel in the morning and find the airconditioners fan is barely running and no sound iscoming from it. Thats when I looked up fan sounds and found this app. Started it, fell right to sleep, it ran until I turned it off before getting up to start another g/y shift. I love it good job!!! I would love to hear a sound of a swamp cooler running. Thanks for the sleeping aid

Helps me relax. But I bought the app and it still starts with an ad even though it quickly hides. Plus unless I have the timer set, it randomly goes off then back on but to a louder noise... defeating the purpose.. Other than that, it's easy to use, the sounds are great and I use every night. Makes me want to invest in an actual noise maker.

Great app! Enjoyed it so much I paid $1.99 for it and still feel like I stole it.. Electric fan, Calm rainstorm, cat purring, brown noise, Wind, ocean waves, forest rain, Among many others. At this time, my favorite is Airplane Midflight. Got stuck in a hotel with no fan and my jaws' version of "One Note in Brass for Eternity" playing in my ears. Got this for my Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Works! Great! Love it! THANK You! A lifesaver.

This is a very nice Sound Machine app for sleeping and relaxing, i would have given it a higher rating except for the purchase bug. I paid for it last night only to realize today that you need to be online when opening it for it to remember that you have purchased it. I am often in an offline environment and this is no good to me. When i am offline and the app still thinks i have not paid i might as well just keep the free version. Please if this is a bug could you put out a fix, if this is intentional in the app please could i have a refund as i am offline more than online with my phone.

I love this app. Helps me sleep good. I really like the timer. But I noticed that the Ocean Waves will turn into a sound like a shower within 10 minutes of playing. Please change that as I like to alternate between the calm rain and ocean waves. Also, if you have it playing any sound and you open a social network like facebook it will glitch and change to white noise and it won't stop unless you fine the original noise and pause it

I love these sounds, they're authentic & the background is excellent, perhaps the best. But one glitch; app will suddenly turn itself 'off'. After silence for 5 seconds, it switches to loud static! Must open program & turn 'off' to stop. Pls fix; this is keeping you from being the best.

The exit/timer setting buttons are right next to the ads at the bottom and frequently result in pop ups that lead you to spam websites (which tell you your phone had been infiltrated and is compromised due to viruses). You're better off using a safe free app which is not this one.

I love the sounds that this app provides and I like having it on multiple devices. I paid for the full version with the full sound expansion, but I don't always have access to them. When I open up the app, most times it still advertises the full version that I already paid for. Is there any way to fix this because I love the app?

I can choose my sound (love brown noise and airplane) but any time I touch my phone, get a notification, hit the power button, the sound I choose stops, there's a few second break and then it blares white noise (which is not very pleasant) if this weren't an issue EVERY TIME I used it, then I'd give it a 5 star. I sleep amazing when it doesn't startle me by switching sounds in the middle of the night....

I like that it allows me to use other apps and runs as a service so I can easily turn it on and off. However, it frequently fails by cutting off, then turning back on super loud. Disturbs my child! I also have to go in and hit play then stop to get it to stop playing after this happens.

It forces me to close the process and restart, and it crashes again, while I'm sleeping. Is it supposed to help to sleep well? I had been waking up and closing and re-launching this app hundreds of times - I'm gonna give up. This is so frustrating, really. I sleep better without this. Also: brown noise stops sometimes and white noise starts.

This app has a bug that randomly switches the sound to pink noise. It's no fun being jolted out of a deep sleep when the low hum of the wind blowing suddenly changes to a high shrieking of the pink noise. Unacceptable.

Thanks, I had this on my Galaxy 4, with no issues for 2 yrs now I updated to the Galaxy 6 edge and as soon as it starts playing it gets hee cups, like it plays for a second then it stops, and start again and I need it to work. I was using this for a great night's sleep. Hurry please

I really enjoyed this the first few days, however when I play one sound middle of the night it changes. Scares the crap out of me and then I can't fall back to sleep. If it didn't do that it would be great but because it does I'm rating poor.

UPDATE: i bought the ads free upgrade hoping that maybe the upgrade worked better. I'm still getting ads. The sounds are good but there are still major problems with this app. I will not raise the rating beyond the one star. END UPDATE. Works well but won't stay on sound selected. Keeps going off then restarts with an obnoxiously loud sound that startles us awake. If it weren't for this I would give it a 5 rating, but this is way to big of a problem to give it more thana single star. Please fix this.

I like it and use it nightly. My only gripe is that I used to be able to set the app then switch screens. Lately, when I switch screens, the sound goes off and this loud screeching sound comes on until I exit the app. I reset it and then the app is fine until the next time. UPDATE 4/11/15: The loud screeching noise is happening more often, nearly everytime I switch screens. I want the sound as background while I still use my phone, I don't want to stare at it.

Opens ads during any interaction and program close, making use of the program very difficult and annoying. Doesn't scale correctly on high resolution tablet making buttons too small. Most sounds are perceived as too high pitched due to small device speakers, and need to be better mixed. Only positive compared to other apps is smooth looping without noticeable gaps.

This is the most realistic sound program I've ever down loaded or bought outside of my phone. I down loaded this program to my samsung S4 for the pink noise I've been hearing so much about and I also got the name of it from dr oz website

Love the crackling fire. Very relaxing and I actually feel warmer, maybe because I'm more relaxed. Changes to heavy rain sometimes without my doing anything, not happy about that. Would rate 5 stars if not for that. Frustrating. Has some sounds haven't found elsewhere, like fire. Others are common sounds. Worth downloading.

Download this to use for my baby to aid sleep, really like the crackling fire noise and set timer for 20 mins and after 5 mins it changed abruptly to loud running water sound and startled my baby awake....! Not really the point of an app to aid restful sleep! Will have to uninstall.

I love this app. I have always had a hard time falling asleep & with this app I can fall asleep to many different noises This app is awesome! I love it! I am from the sou & I recently moved up north to be with one of my daughters. The noise of all the traffic & people kept me awake nights, since I found this app I have had no problems falling asleep. I love the sounds, they're clear & I can play them as long as I want with the timer. GREAT APP!

Used to use this app every night on my s5, started getting frustrated when it would regularly either stop or go back to the default sound on its own accord or on opening another app. Just upgraded to the s6 and now the sound doesnt play continiously, there is a definite gap when sound is repeating. Hopefully a fix can be sorted out to get it back on track for all user on all devices.

I liked the sounds and timer feature. Considering the paid upgrade....but then a big advertisement covered the whole screen. Annoyed. Note to developer. Annoying potential customers is not conducive to sales. Now looking for an alternative. You almost made it. Keep trying.

On vacation. I sleep with a fan every night, literally can't sleep with out it. I downloaded 10 different fan/white noise apps and tested them all. I deleted all of them but this one. The brown noise is the one I like best :-) im so glad this works!

Sounds are decent but the loops are very very short so yu can't help but notice the sound skip. Why not overlap the track I don't know. 1/3 of the time (if your phone receives data) the app will Change th e track to "white noise" which is VERY our and not at all soothing. Wil yank you out of a deep sleep like a shot to the chops. Uninstalling and moving on. Use only for temporary fix

I put it on brown noise, but out of nowhere it goes into this loud annoying white noise that is 10 times louder. It has woken me up several times. It's suppose to help me sleep, but it does the opposite. Also, the fan sound does not sound like a fan and it skips every 30 seconds. Cannot sleep with the constant clicking.

WTF Paid for the extra sounds & no ads package when I first installed, but now it no longer recognises the purchase & has gone back to the free version. Please fix!

This app was great when it worked. My and my wife loved the rain. Now the play back is every 15 secs and it wakes us up. This is unacceptable and this is why it's getting a one star. I tried to buy the no ads also as well and I had even more ads pop up. Please fix this asap. We loved your rain and thunder.

Every time I try o set the timer I set it to the time I want it to stop and press Start Timer and it does nothing... Please in the next update can you put something on the screen for example "Timer Has Been Set For..." Please it would help a lot to know that my timer is set... Because without the timer I will sleep in and be late...

I've been using this app for at least a couple years and finally decided to purchase it to be rid of the blatantly-malware-esque ads. I completed the purchase and the ads have not been removed. I emailed and dev and received no response.

My Android security immediately detected the Ad Push malware which pushes unwanted adverts to your phone and also has a pay / bill archive by SMS text malware called PUAISMS.pay.A Android. Uninstalled this even before using as this is very rare in the apps I have installed in the past and I do not wish for Spam or Financial risks. Not Good, 0 stars but I have to give 1 star unfortunately, Steph

I Payed for this to stop the app from taking over my phone with ads and I'm still getting ads.

I use this to fall asleep. Do you REALLY think I want some garbage video ads screaming at me? This app has woken up my family numerous times. Look elsewhere.

I don't really notice anything wrong with the app at all. I really love it. Especially the car purr feature on it. It reminds me of my cat's purring, and how it put me to sleep most nights. I miss them so much.

I was, at one time, in a totally committed and exclusive relationship with the dishwasher loop on the iOS's Sleep Machine® app, but then switched to samsung android last year and discovered that the dishwasher sleep machine is exclusive to iphone. Yikes! This app only mildly sufficed at first but now its now its first choice. My favs are Brown Noise though I hate the name(reminds me of poop) and love love love Urban Ambiance. I do miss street scene from the older version. Take care.

I saw the results really fast and loved it no fault so far haven't been tired since (even if the ocean waves noise made me need the loo)

The sounds are about 10 second clips which don't fade into a loop gradually, they just abruptly cut off and start over. Not very relaxing. It is also very annoying that this app, even when closed shows up on your pull down toolbar.
