Rain Sounds HD

I spent the $2 to add more sounds and be rid of ads. I like the app, its clean and easy to use. The sounds seem high enough in quality, though a few are very distorted. What surprises me is the extremely poor scrolling responsiveness of the app. Fix these issues and I'll make it 5 stars.

My daughter is 3 wks old and has been very fussy at night, won't sleep. But someone recommend white noise to help her sleep, I downloaded this app and she was sleeping within 8 minutes! A real life saver!

7 half crappy sounds that sound digitized or poorly recorded. I've heard better water sounds from a shower. Hits you up in the menu for how to buy more. Really? I would have rather you put the sounds in and asked for a donation. Doesn't close by swiping like every other app. You have to open it to close it each time. Needs to automatically stop when the phone rings so it's not difficult to hear the conversation.

To me, it sounds like recordings were made in a shower using different materials as opposed to being real rain. I paid the additional 99p for ad free but I must be lucky as I still have those pesky ads. Doesn't work for me really but others may like. Charles Vald's stuff is better imo.

Thunder selection doesn't seem to have any thunder. 'Evening Showers' is just electronic noise, as if the file is corrupted. Takes up a lot of memory for so few selections. Offers an Expansion Pack, but I would like to know what's in it before paying. Uninstalling.

I paid $1.99 for the extra sound effects. Most of the sounds are good, but two or three of them don't play their sounds and it freezes up often. If this gets fixed, I would definitely give 5 stars.

I love it, very clean recordings and the end is carefully selected to loop back seamlessly. One thing I don't like is that it checks for purchase everytime it starts, which is bad when I'm on vacation in a cabin with no internet, I lose all the extra sounds that I love. It should check once and be done with it.

More attention should be paid to the audio loop transition from the end of the loop to the start. The transition is jarring and very noticeable. Not very relaxing at all.

They all sound the same! And the evening showers sounds like a futuristic ringtone?! It's not even rain?! Terrible app!

Sound great. But some of the files play a really annoying, almost electronic, noise. I've tried a reinstall and nothing worked. Sides that, works great

For random white noise like reading not just sleeping. The evening rain sounds creepy and just wrong. You gonna update this app?

Some of the sounds don't come in at all or sound muffled. The loop just stops sometimes.

Switches sounds at random. Track sounds good but loop seam is rough and very noticeable.

Love it. I have tinnitus so this app helps me sleep through the night without a constant ringing in my ears

Keeps walking me up! I'd rather pay for no loops than have a free app. Going to have to delete this.

Ideally the timer would keep the time set as it was last entered and just hit start timer.

Just upgraded to the S7 edge and now I get breaks in the loops about every 30 seconds. This has rendered this app useless.

really? evening showers it's lower quality than my effing alarm clock. that I bought for one dollar. that's not on an app on my phone. if there weren't other apps out there that were better quality than the only one loop that I seem to have a problem with ide say something different. honestly the app is great besides that one "loop" just being honest

I love the ambient rain and calm rainfall. When I need to destress I listen to the rain on this app and it only takes a few minutes for me to be much calmer. A great way to relax.

I have a large sound machine and this app rocks. I was unable to sleep so I started it up and woke up fresh this am. Great app.

Would pay if it can really loop and reach hd quality, now neither unfortunately.

Sounds are rich. Loops are perfect. Cabin storms is my favorite rain loop track in all the play store; unique to this app. Its a tin-roof rain that isn't raspy like in other apps. Driving storms is great too. Just one, non-obtrusive banner ad at bottom.

Of the few free sounds you can use, most of them are far too harsh, one of them is glitched and just makes creepy Skynet noises, and the only one gentle enough to fall asleep to has no thunder. I've had - and deleted - far better rain sound apps than this.

Compared to other apps, this one I prefer more. The rain sounds more realistic and makes me feel like I'm back home in washington, only thing I'd like is more rain noises. Don't get me wrong I'm happy with what I have but don't all Americans want a lil more. Great job you've saved my sleep and I'll continue to update, also I'm using a galaxy s5

This app would be my absolute favorite but the only downside is that I had to pay $1.99 for more sounds.

This application is OK. If only it had more sounds. And if you. Buy the full version im sure it is better. Going TO look for a different one though.but 1 sound is louder than others I've had.

Nice and clean samples (for the most part) and in stereo. Loops are nicely joined. Well worth the couple of bucks.
