Fernando Prass

Fernando Prass chegou ao Palmeiras em dezembro de 2012 credenciado pelas destacadas e longevas passagens por Coritiba (186 jogos) e Vasco da Gama (248 partidas). Experiente, o goleiro gaúcho assumiu a meta alviverde de cara e foi um dos principais responsáveis pelo bom desempenho da defesa palestrina na temporada 2013 – a melhor do Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, com 28 gols sofridos em 38 rodadas. Revelado pelo Grêmio, clube pelo qual atuou por dez anos, o arqueiro fez também carreira fora do país: entre 2005 e 2008, defendeu as cores do União de Leiria-POR. No time luso, conquistou o prêmio de melhor goleiro do Português em 2006/2007 (concedido pelo jornal A Bola) e ajudou a classificar a modesta equipe à Copa Uefa (atual Liga Europa) do ano seguinte. Em 2014, o então capitão palestrino, apesar de uma grave lesão no cotovelo direito no meio do ano, foi importante, principalmente na reta final do Campeonato Brasileiro, e terminou a temporada com 87 jogos pelo Verdão. Em 2015, iniciou o ano como um dos homens de confiança do técnico Oswaldo de Oliveira e, no dia 15 de março, na vitória sobre o XV de Piracicaba por 1 a 0, pelo Paulistão, completou a marca de 100 partidas pelo clube. Na semi do torneio estadual, contra o rival Corinthians, fora de casa, defendeu duas cobranças (de Elias e Petros) na disputa por pênaltis (após empate por 2 a 2 no tempo normal) e classificou o Alviverde para a final. Assim como em 2014, Prass foi eleito o melhor da posição no Campeonato Paulista. No Brasileiro, manteve a regularidade e, na Copa do Brasil, começou o seu processo de canonização. Além de atuações impecáveis durante os confrontos, o camisa 1 foi decisivo na disputa por pênaltis na semifinal, contra o Fluminense, quando aparou uma cobrança, e na final, diante do Santos, quando defendeu uma vez e cobrou a quinta e derradeira batida. Um dos protagonistas do título épico (o segundo da Copa do Brasil de sua carreira), Prass encerrou a temporada com o contrato renovado até o fim de 2017.
