DragonBox Elements

I was hoping that this app would teach the rules of geometry in the same way that DragonBox Algebra teaches how to manipulate algebraic formulas. Unfortunately, there's no actual construction of diagrams, only reasoning about diagrams that are already drawn up. It's OK as far as it goes, and might make an amusing game for kids, but doesn't capture much of what's taught in a geometry class.

In between stages, there is a lightsaber-like sound that plays even if sound and music have both been set to 0. Please fix.

I recommend this for parents and for teachers. It develops great intuition for geometric properties and logic, appropriate for kids and adults. I recommend it to my community college geometry students, and my 3-year-old also loves it. How's that for range? (To be honest, my 3-year-old will get more out of it when he gets a little more dextrous. It's probably more appropriate for 5+)

Essential for children and adults

one of the best educational apps I've found

On my Samsung Tab S, it worked one or two times. Then it stopped working. When I wrote to support, I only got an automated response. It seems that they respond better here. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. If nothing else, I expected some response from support. [ U P D A T E ] The latest update yesterday or today seems to have fixed the issue. I am still bummed that I didn't get a response for so long - just an acknowledgment of my issue would have been sufficient. But for this customer service issue, I would rate it as 5 stars. [U P D A T E] They went ahead and refunded me to make up for the previous customer service issue. Restoring the 5th star for that.

It would be nice if there was another level at the end. You spend the whole game learning the concepts. There should be more of an opportunity at the end to practice applying those concepts.

My kids really enjoyed this game. Suggestion, could there be a switch to flip between modes: one where a bonus is received for 100% identification of all shapes, angles, and other geometry features and one for the minimalist solution.

Not quite as intuitive as dragon box but she still has a ton of fun and it does a great job simplifying complex topics

The company behind The Dragonbox series has once again proven it's ability to "trick" you into learning concepts. Can't wait to get home from vacation and apply the knowledge my kids built up to paper, pencil, ruler and compass (and geogebra ;) )

This is the rare game that succeeds in being highly educational and truly fun. They really nail it. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that it could really use more levels, especially at the moderate and challenging levels. Just at the point at which my son really seemed to be getting the hang of it, he finished it. That said, it was well worth the money for what he got out of it.

These "games" are stellar. Best value for money I've seen in a *long* while for Android apps. PLEASE MAKE MORE. ALREADY OWN ALL 3 APPS! My kids (a bubbly 7 year old girl and a very geeky 16 year old boy math wiz) have finished the game and NEED MORE!

I loved DB 5+ and Algebra and was excited for this game, but after two worlds I've run across a problem. I can't click on items sometimes. I really need help, thanks.

Cleverly designed game, teaches geometry, and my kids love it.

The game over always great for learning but could have used more shapes, such as Pentagons and hexagons.

finally i'm glad about technology

Incredible graphics. Out of this world creativity. Reminiscent of Ralph Bakshi somehow. . . Absolutely brilliant!! The mathematics is spot on.

Brilliant game!

We've tried out a lot of educational games with our daughter, and even the best ones tend to just add sound and animation to generic math and spelling problems. This game and the original DragonBox are the only ones that actually turn math itself into fun, compelling games. Looking back, it makes so much sense - I enjoyed geometry in school because it was almost like a game to me. Now I see my daughter getting the same enjoyment from this game.

Good fun doing geometry proofs. Instructions could use a little work, though.

Brilliant

The reason I got this app was because the Dragon box algebra was awesome. My 5 year old jus knows to solve simple algebra. Unfortunately this app didn't go up to it's potential. Sometimes the app gets frozen and had to be restarted. Also the levels are misleading like you go to next level and it is easier. I would have hoped kids to learn more about how angles of a triangle could make a difference when angles change. Overall ok-good.

Cool engaging art. Game mechanism based heavily on geometry so that concepts are reenforced. Love it. My 8yr old son loved it. Math teacher wife loved it too.

I bought Dragonbox Algebra and elements. Algebra was incredibly good so I thought elements would be also. It was a let down. the interface is difficult to control. Ive had to restart the app just to get back to the main screen to choose a level. The level choosing is also confusing and misleading plus there is no hints or solution button like in DB algebra. Fix these things and it may have potential. I know the creators of Dragonbox can do better.

Wonderful app. Our six year old loves the range. A little less creature collection in this one means its not as played as algebra but still one of his favourites. Recommended.

My son loves this game. It's a great puzzle game by every measure! Fun, smart, looks & sounds great.

It subtly teaches concepts of geometric proofs without a single word. It's so natural.
