Shift.Cal+

This is minimal in its abilities. It gets the job done, but I work a schedule that has at least 20 combinations of variables to create a shift. I bought the paid app just so I could log all of them. I wish that I could just put in the type of work (and thus pay) and then put in what hours my shift is for it. It's designed for a very specific type of shift work, so it barely works well for me. However, I live the payment calculations. Very smart a d convenient.

Since last update, there is small issue: load previous month before open statistics, then open it and no matter of setting you choose it always show all shifts, including empty ones.

Worked perfectly for a while so upgraded to paid version, great app but widget has now stopped working after a while

This needs an option to backup to a user designated location! Then 5 stars.

Would be better if you could please update app to allow more than two shifts per day.

It's solid, but hasn't been updated for years. Creating repeating rotas takes a while to figure out.

User friendly and simple. Love the color options as well. I don't like that I'm not able to back up data online though. So when downloaded to a new phone, my shift patterns and changes to the patterns have to be entered all over again. Online back up would be more convenient than external back up.

I've been using this app for quite some time now and it is the best one of many I've tried. It's easy to put shifts in and the widget is nice to have on one of my home screens. One thing I would love would be if they added a way to add plans or events without having to make them a 'shift'. I'd like to use this as my only calendar and that would fill the gap. Love this app!

The UI needs a little tweaking, just small details like the text colour on the menu so it doesn't blend in with the background. A really useful up but feels a little dated

What sets it apart from other shift calenders is the function to add notes and the statistics. Not to mention how it's simple and the calender does not take up the entire screen. Worth the bit of money to add more shifts as well as for the app to be ad free.

I like the app a lot, however I also needed the same calendar to be synced to my tablet or other devices. That would be really great. I don't mind syncing the data through dropbox. As well as to backup the data to dropbox.

Beautifully designed UI & very easy to use. Would have given 5 stars if it synced with Google Calendar, allowed for other start dates and had an option to add the same shift on multiple days.

Can't restore from backup aftet factory reset. .Db file is on my sd card and on my phone. App claims it can't find it. I've lost the shifts I've been putting in for the last 4 months... Will be looking for another app.

Would be perfect if I could live share dates to shift cal on another mobile and add into Google calendar

This app suits my needs perfectly for my 12 hour shift pattern, quick and easy to use, recommended! Quick amend, how do I set a reminder? And are you considering a timed notification so we can set reminders? Also recently I had to factory reset my phone and lost my backup, so it would really be handy to be able to backup to the cloud! Any other way of backing up to external cloud? Lastly, Could you possibly make the current day more noticeable?

Similar apps look like they were drawn in MS Paint. This one looks nice and polished and allows me to quickly cross-reference my schedule with my wife's through color-coding. Not a lot of frills, but that's not necessarily a con.

Outstanding app! Makes a calendar look pretty and it's dead simple and quick to assign shifts to the calendar. Killer feature is definitely being able to add a widget to the home screen!

I have been using the free version for a long time and have now decided to purchase the full version. Well worth spending the extra charge for such great app.

How do you move the data on the app when you get a new phone. I lost everything. Please help how do you move the info from phone to phone

Exactly what I was looking for. Took me a while to work out the shift patterns but that is only because I am not familiar with this feature. But now I have it up and running, it's fabulous and so quick and easy. Although it would be even better if you could add other calendar entries so i dont have to use another calendar. I would love it if this was my one and only calendar.

This is a great way to keep track of all my shifts. Very clear and easy to use :). Very pleased with this app. Allows you to personalise it to suit you and your shift pattern.

Shifts wise etc all good, but backup and restore is pointless, you have to maually backup ... so be sure you remember to regularly do it, but then it says backed up to external storage ... but it isn't, it's device storage ? So your backup gets wiped with a phone reset anyway? Maybe adding cloud backup would be an idea ?

Really useful. Does exactly what it says... don't expect any support though, the developer doesn't reply to emails!

Lots going on when you add more then one shift to one day. Any chance of making improved, smaller widgets for Android? And putting in paydays would be nice....

When you choose sound and vibration, nothing happens. Also you can't choose a sound. Alarm clock would be better, for each shift.
