Profile Scheduler+

Used to work great but now as everyone else is indicating it has major issues with current Android version. Shuts down now when it used to be rock stable and once timer is engaged you can't switch it off manually without crashing everytime you try. Definitely a "don't buy" app until it gets some fixes.

Developer has recently started trying to update app to work with newer versions of Android, as well as a material redesign. Unfortunately, adapting the old code to the new OSs has proven to be to great a task. App force closes multiple times each day on both Marshmallow and Nougat, and it cannot control Do Not Disturb rules. Was amazing, now basically unusable on Android 6.0 and higher.

It works for me on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (SnapDragon) with MIUI 8 (Marsmallow). I use scheduler and wifi based rules, without any problem. Only thing that seems not to work is that I only see the app's icon in the notification, not the profile's. I sthere any chance it could be fixed?...

Used to be an excellent and a must have application. And it still is if the phone is running on up to MM. Unfortunately, as soon as it is Android N, the app is completely worthless. It simply does not work on 7.x. And, there seems to be no response to the problems from developer, unfortunately...

Right now, the timer function is not working and crashes my LGV20 when trying to return to the normal profile. But I'm holding out. This is that one app I really don't want to be without. There is no better on android and nothing like it for iOS. Really hoping the developer can get it right.

Have had this for many years, first app I would install on any phone, but has ceased to function properly on Nougat and crashes after every profile change. I really hope developer will upgrade because I don't want to have to try anything else. Meanwhile, have to uninstall after backing up the database file .db hopefully for future use. Dev, can you notify when you have a new version compatible with Nougat? Will be seriously missing this app meanwhile.

Update: Had issues with 4.4, Lollipop & Marshmallow. Now nougat? Dev needs to have stable app prior to Android release. Original: Great for saving battery and stopping those unwanted alerts at the least opportune times.

This used to be a great app but now it just does not work on my new S8 (Android nougat you can see there a lot of issues with other users). I used to say it was an app that you absolutely must have. Paid for this but it just does not work any more like it should and it crashed so many times today it needs to go. Sad to say this used to be perfect.

Unreliable. Have to check whether wifi and volume have correctly changed each time. More often than not, wifi state hasn't updated. Looking for alternative. (Nexus 5x - Nougat)

This used to be a fantastic app. First one that I put on any new phone. Ever since the update, it closes multiple times a day. Very frustrating. Please fix, I don't want to find and set up a new app.

Two main issues done recent update. 1. Please restore option to directly select list of profiles from widget. 2. Individual profile widgets leads to app crash after reboot.

Used to be good but phone did an update now it keeps falling over.. I re install it 5 times now it's time to give up on it.

Was once superb. And still is if you're not on android nougat. Unfortunately I am...and the app simply doesn't work any more. No sign of fixes. Shame.

Nougat update on my S7 has made this app useless. It can't automatically change profiles anymore. The only response from the author is that they're backlogged. Update: Doesn't work on my S8 either.

Great app, I am a long time customer. I use it on my business phone and on the private one. Just have an hickup were the WIFI based rule is not triggered on Nougat when in background. Same rule works nicely on Marshmallow. Keep up the good work . I liked the redesign of the app.

It stopped working. Sad that I paid for this. Reinstalled so many times still didn't fix problems, what a waste of a good app.

It's a great app on OSs lower than Marshmallow. I've had inconsistent functionality on Nougat.

Doesn't work properly with Android 7.0. Also no automatic switching between profiles after Android upgrade. Please fix it.

All i need is the right sound profile on the time and place. 1 downside: don't work with Android 7 yet. Waiting for great update.

Used to be great, but when my phone upgraded my Note5 to Nougat this just crashes all the time and essentially doesn't work at all since it doesn't even control vibrate or sounds on notification anymore.

Useless on S7 edge on Nougat. Desperately needs updating

Guys this app is the most app i have ever used but when i upgraded to android 7 it doesnt work properly sometimes maybe it has some bugs or something went wrong , specially turnig to silent at night and other things ..my device is Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual

App doesn't work on recent versions of Android. A shame as it's a great app when it works.

Used to be the best app until the Android update. Developers can you please fix this ASAP, I rely on this app heavily and I have paid for it!

Great app! I rarely ever have to remember to silence or unsilence my phone! Not sure developer is still responding to support requests even though they recently released a Material Design version. It looks and works great as long as you delete existing app data and then re-create any rules and profiles. Importing the profiles/rules created in the previous version caused the app to crash repeatedly.

I've had this app for years and I couldn't fault it for ease of use, it's made my phone so much easier to use. The rules functionality is fantastic. UPDATE great update, love the new look and feel. Only downside is I have a WiFi bug where it is switching on and off randomly and not adhering to my rules/profiles. Just WiFi doing it, all other background services are behaving as they should.

Automated my daily routine from home, car, work, weekends. If you hate changing your profiles for meetings, sleep, and everything in between then this app is for you. It takes a bit of tweaking and trial and error but is well worth it... Device: SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 Plus version working with my old profiles & rules v4.3. * Kudos for Quick Action to bug fixes *

Not working for Galaxy S7 Edge, Android v. 6.0.1. I have used the app for several years for other Samsung products, and have never had problems. But after installing the app on Galaxy S7 Edge, the app does not work anymore. Get error message "Profile Scheduler+ has stopped working". Too bad, as I think the app is/has been a must!!! Will this be fixed?

After my S7 was upgraded to Android 7, this is what happens: 1. The app can no longer set the phone to silent. Only vibration! 2. It crashes to the point of inevitable uninstall when a profile is timed with an exact time not a duration. 3. It can no longer control Bluetooth or Wi-Fi!!! This renders the app pretty useless. What is even worse is the total unresponsiveness of the developer. This is a paid app. You were paid to provide proper support!

After additional waste of time, I can add why you should not buy this app. 1.No way to turn on/off Hotspot - internet for car I have to turn on/off manually. 2.No way to crate rules that will not be triggered out when condition is not meet anymore. For example I use cell id to switch my profile to work. But when BTS is weak, than my profile can not stay , can be previous or different. The only way is to add new cell, but when I reach limit I had unexpected call during meeting. It is easier to use system buttons.

I have been using the paid version of the app for about a year and until the most recent update it worked fine on my Nexus 6. Since the last update I have problems getting certain default profiles to work properly (or at all) and the rules work inconsistently. For instance when switching from a profile with Bluetooth turned on to one with Bluetooth set to off it will remain on, and as others have mentioned there are volume problems in some profiles. Please fix this app so that it will work again.

When my phone upgraded to Android 7, this app started giving me trouble. When I tried using the widget to move to a profile, the app crashed. When I emailed the developer, I got an auto response that he is only supporting this part time now. I'm uninstalling now

Several profiles, because ring volume was 0 & it automatically set to silent ring type option wouldn't activate. Figured out work around & then a few weeks later, now buying is working, no persistent icon in app shade& cannot activate profiles at all. Used to LOVE this app & it's unusable now.

Was excellent most of the time. Now with Marshmallow update it wakes me with vibration every time phone goes to night profile, and again in the morning. That is the short vibration done by Android itself when one decreases volume to 0, which profile scheduler does. I hope this can be fixed, that spoils the whole idea.
