Sensors Multitool for Android
All I really want the devs to add is the cpu temperature and it's info, because then they will really have all the sensors that I know without having to install another separate application. Thx. Edit: I also forgot to add, thanks for adding the no ads option without payment, and only saying a consious message. Because this is such a great app, I'll keep ads on to support you guys. Great job!
Found this app quite by accident. Now I have all the things in one easy spot. Quite the awesome power of software. Leaving the ads on because this supports further developments. Also willing to donate to such a great program. This should be standard on every phone released. Only suggestion would be a sound meter. That's the only thing I can think is missing. Way to go and good luck with your continued success.
Very neat app, well designed, useful and easy to use. A sound level meter would be a useful addition. Here's the unusual thing though, the ads are annoying, they can cover data and, every so often, flash full screen ads in your face. Normally this would have me hitting 'uninstall' but the developers have included an option to simply turn them off - no catch, no charge, just a conscience message. That's exceptionally generous and there is no donate or pay option to accompany it. Personally, I'd happily pay a few dollars to use this ad-free
This app is designed really well. There's so much data to look at from acceleration and rotation to light levels, and all of it is categorized into different subsections for ease of use. Definitely one of the best apps I have installed. However, there are two things I would like to see fixed/added: First, I think there should be a microphone level sensor (for both onboard mic and headset if plugged in). Second, the ads aren't usually a problem, but when there's a full screen advertisement requires five seconds of waiting, it really bothers me (though really, it is only five seconds). But the developers really went above and beyond with an option to stop all advertisements in their settings, so it's not a big deal. I really applaud this wonderful app in all of its aspects, so good job Wered Software.
Hi Dev, I get the feeling a lot of users want to remove ads AND support you by paying $1-3. The app is good! Also I would like to see pressure unit inches of mercury, now there is mm but standard altimeters in N America use inches (29.92 being ICAO standard atmosphere).
Can't say enough good things about this app. Turns your phone into a tool kit for objectively observing the world around you. Physics teachers: Get your students to install this app - blows the lab day options wide open! Auto enthusiasts: Don't trust your butt dyno! This app gives you three-axis acceleration graphs with awesome resolution. Other people: It's quick and easy to use. Very straightforward display that doesn't require a technical background to understand.
Good app. Simple navigation. Works accurately on all devices I've tried it on so far. Video ads make me want to turn off ads, static image ads are ok. Suggestion for devs: Option for GPS location in an ALL decimal format, (xx.xxxxx, yy.yyyyy) Edit: GPS info CAN be changed to aforementioned readout.
Most of the sensors work great, and I love that the developers gave you the option to remove adds for free (I left them on). Just had a few issues on a Samsung S8, like the proximity sensor switching from 0-8 cm, but nothing in between (understandable if this is a hardware limitation, but it would be nice if the app somehow indicated that this was the case)
It is a wonderful app, it looks good and shows you technical information, and you can remove ads without having to pay which I think is very thoughtful of the devs and for that reason I leave ads on. However one thing that is missing for me is a biometrics tab as I am on a s7 edge and any galaxy s5 and above has a biometric scanner for BPM and SpO2 however I do understand if that is very hard if not impossible to do because of samsung restrictions.
It seems it is smart. O'K, developers are smart. And very useful and clear app, one instead of many junk apps on the Store. Problem found: battery on my LG G5 reported as having more than 3 kV output. Let's correct comma's position, guys.
I really hate hate hate ads! But since there is no option to otherwise donate to this dev, I am leaving the ads on to support the dev as thanks for this amazing tool. Simple clean UI that offers fast access to all realtime sensor data. Every phone should have this essential app.
Great app. Just two things that would make it better. 1) The random full-screen pop up ads are pretty intrusive. I appreciate the ability to disable them, but I would gladly pay for a "premium" version of the app to help support. 2) The ability to read light levels in foot-candles.
Great app. Wish there was a payment option as I don't like ads so I used the "turn ads off" feature, but would still like to pay for all the work put into the app. Can you imagine they allow you to turn off the ads? Very nice.
Gives a very detailed view of not only what the sensors are up to, but also their specs. Which brings me to my only "complaint": All of these sensors are so sensitive, and their resolutions so amazingly low, that the displayed current value doesn't have enough decimal points to give you the true values. I guess they didn't want the screen full of .0000000s. Good call, I think.
Is there a way to calibrate the system? Also why can I only take a snapshot of the readout and not the graph? I'f I'm measuring the data real time I will lose my data after 10 seconds and can't save it... My accelerometer reads 12.00 if flat on a table in the z direction and 9.8 in the Y if it's vertical so my z acceleration has a offset that I'm wondering if it could be corrected ?
1. Downloaded the app from Play store, shows only 5 sensor options only. Battery, GPS, WIFI, Accelerometer , Proximity. - WHY, is it due to my mobile supports only them ? 2. What's New Release Notes Say: - new funcionality to save sensors state ::: Typo Error - it should be functionality.
I had been running it for five minutes when suddenly it pops up an add, with sound volume all the way up! Sounded like a jet engine. Woke my wife up. There is no excuse for doing something like that. Uninstall. . . Good riddance!
Love it a lot but I came across a 25% battery warning telling me to conserve battery... I did the recommend brightness etc. For some reason I was unable to get the pop up away. Many minutes of trying to uninstall the app with the pop-up screen in my face it just went away
I LOVE THIS APP!! It actually gives me the option to disable ads! Because it gave me the option, I actually decided to leave it on, they deserve it... One small complaint though, it doesn't show me any GPS data, when I go to show on google maps, it takes me to somewhere near Africa, I live in Australia. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. Hopefully you can fix the problem. Keep up the good work!
Awesome app. Simple and easy to use unlocking extra functionality that I didn't even know my phone had. I'm an engineer so love being able to measure and see how things change. Would like to be able to change gps coordinates to UTM but no biggie. Thanks heaps guys ????
I found the application very useful however the ads were highly intrusive. If they were less intrusive I would have kept them on to help out the developer. Small flashing and full screen ads do not endear users to the developer. Small static ads at the bottom similar in size to the current flashing ones would be quite acceptable.
Would like to be able to resolve the three axes into magnitude for things like the magnetometer so that changes in the orientation of the phone don't affect the reading so much. It can make it difficult to make sense of whether the readings are changing due to change in magnetic field or a wobble of the hand.
Temperature graph scale is silly. No sound meter. The temperature graph scale is from -165°C to +165°C, and I can't find a way to change it. That's a totally useless scale. And there's no sound meter. The layout is good, though. A couple of fixes and the app will be good.
Looks fun to play around with! I uninstalled it afterwards, because I have no use for it right now, overall good app. I'll add this to my wishlist if I ever want to come back to this app lol. :)
It seems pretty cool. I would like a sound level meter included as well as a way to record notes and findings in a journal and have a quick link to internet search engines. I wasn't able to get the proximity tool to work, but being able to measure distance using the camera and tapping the image in question could have some really good applications.
Does whats it says, looks good. Swiping from the left seems to move to another tab instead of opening the sidebar which is some confusing behavior
Excellent app. If at all possible, being able to change the values on the graph and to save the data would make it even better. As other people had said, I will gladly pay for this app and remove ads. As it is, I am leaving ads on to support it!
Excellent comprehensive tool! For sensor viewing applications, I've come to appreciate the wide variety of information you can view. The only reason I disabled ads was because it's always Mobile Strike, and full screen. Maybe if it was less obtrusive I would be fine with it, but oh well.
Great little tool kit, even lets you remove ads without payment. Only glitch I've found is the graphs reset when the screen is rotated.
Great app! I hate adds, but feel quilty if I disable them. I would gladly donate few euros, but didn't find a way to do it.
Recently got a Daydream for my Google pixel XL but it had a bit of drift to it, got this app and it showed me that the gyroscope was not zeroing correctly, I proceeded to recalibrate it and now it works perfectly
Essential Development / Troglodyte Tool. Awesome Developers like you are hard to come by (Option to disable ADS at no apparent toll just proves it). Keep up the good work and I'll Keep on clicking those ads (Would love to know if you actually monetise them out of clicks or views only) BRAVO MAESTRO! Arrivederci e buona fortuna!
Displays the output of on board sensors accurately. Would give 5* but lacks the ability to recalibrate the sensors. If you're only looking for an app to view the data, this works fine.
Great app. The ads are really annoying but I like how you can disable them for free without any loss of features. I really like it and I'd pay or donate if there was an option.
I don't usually rate apps, but I really like this one. It would be cool to be able to smooth some data (such as orientation) by averaging. Great app.
Nice suite.. would like to see day from mic, fingerprint scanner. Would pay a couple dollars for this right away if you offered an option. If you wanted to make real money.. have an option to transmit the data, using mobile data. That way I could cram a ready made science package into all of my projects.. and watch the data real time.. THAT, would be worth 5-20 dollars for me.
Nicely written application. Provides undisturbed information. Would like to see: A data log function, to capture any of the data streams to a file. The ability to tune resolution and sample period. An option to donate a few dollars would also be a nice addition.
Very clean interface. Easy to navigate with useful customization options. Ads are a bit annoying, but can be disabled. Would gladly support a paid version.
Nice app. Contains ads, but not the annoying popup/misleading kind.

Love this app, it works quite well. I had to disable the ads as this phone isnt that big, but id gladly pay for the app if there's an option somewhere. I understand the difficulties the Dev has and the need for some financial help, thus my willingness to pay a couple $$$ for it. In regards with the app, it does everything it's supposed to do. It even showed something that was disabled even though in the settings it said it was turned on. Turns out an option within the settings was disabled, which effectively shown it as disabled. A quick look and i had it fixed. Thanks for an excellent app.
