BlueStar® helps you manage your diabetes your way. Receive individualized guidance based on your blood glucose, medications, and lifestyle (food, activity, sleep) to help improve your A1C and overall health.
BlueStar is a comprehensive diabetes app and has received FDA clearance as a Class II medical device. It offers guidance, education, motivation, accountability, and connects with your health care team. In clinical trials, patients using BlueStar had a 2-point drop in A1C. Getting started:
• You need an access code from your employer, health plan, or health care provider to use BlueStar
• With a prescription from your health care provider, you can upgrade to BlueStar® Rx. BlueStar Rx offers an insulin calculator, which is an advanced feature for people who take mealtime insulin.

Using this app has made it sooo much easier to manage my Type 2 diabetes. There are a few things I would like to see changed or enhanced but on the whole this app rocks. Does exactly what I hoped it would do....keep me accountable and offers different aspects of managing my disease. Lots of helpful tools. I haven't even used them all yet!

This app helped me reach my goal. I was able to take my a1c from 8.8 to 5.3. Just follow what your doctor tells you and watch the vidio' s for motivation and anyone can do it. I've lost 50lbs in the process over 6 months time

Bluestar has been a god send for me, being a school bus driver dealing with kids, my grandchildren and all the D.O.T Stressor. It has reminded me to test my surgar levels, and if low how to deal with it. They help you form a meal menu and stick to it, 24 x7 technical support, can send all your information to your doctor office before your appointment so the doctor is aware of how you are doing. They always get in touch with me when I haven't put in any readings. The staff at Blue start organization.
