WeFi - Free WiFi Connect Tool & Find WiFi Map

At first, I was skeptical about this app and its abilities but it has proven to be effective for me. I found that I would not connect to my mobile carrier when I left home. So much so, that I had no connectivity for minutes while driving. After installing this app, that issue has been resolved. Within meters from my home, it switched from Wi-Fi to Project Fi quickly. Switching back is also as quick and seamless. It also locates Wi-Fi and Hotspot locations at any location along my route or stops. One thing that I noticed was that it would determine if the access point had a viable Internet connection which I could later use, if desired. The things that this app does should be part of the Android OS. I love this app!!!

Changed review from 5 stars to 4 because it won't let me block networks I don't want to connect to. It advertises that you can.

Major battery killer..

Constantly tried to connect to hotspots when I was in my home network. It also kept asking me to tag my home network despite having done that multiple times. Apparently you can blacklist things. All I get is an empty list. I know that I have not blacklisted any networks. How do I actually do that?

Basically a set it and forget it app that does it's thing in the background. When I'm near an open WiFi it switches my phone over automatically. When I leave it switches back to data. Only problems is blacklisting locations doesn't seem to work and dev never answers emails. Some sites won't open and many public libraries won't connect to a VPN. And, no, it does not disable Google Play Store as one user claims. Another calls it spam. You obviously don't know what spam is.

Garbage ware. Does nothing more than the basic built-in Wi-Fi system exept provide a map of networks that aren't even accurate... Don't get..

It doesn't turn off my Wireless when I leave my House or turn it on when I get Home. I have to do it manually?

Display nothing without determining location. Shows only networks, built by providers, closed or with captive portals. Does not have option for manual start, always start automatically and drain my battery.

This app works fine if you are looking for something immediately around you but if you are trying to plan ahead and check if wifi is available somewhere the search function doesn't work properly

(1) WeFi automatically disconnects my phone from my 5 GHz network and connects it to my 2.4 GHz network; I don't see any functionality in WeFi to prevent this. (2) I don't see any functionality in WeFi to manually blacklist networks.

I will be at a wifi spot and it said not connected plz fix if so i will give 5 stars and tell everyone i now about it plz

Too dumbed down. I can't stop it from connecting to networks that I didn't want to use. Uninstalling.
