WebMD Allergy for Android
... And the journal option is great too. I would love to see a 'causes of dust' in the app. For example, last year in my area we were dealing with volcanic debris...! I live nowhere near a volcano, but the winds carried it far enough. Knowing something like that helps me understand how long conditions will last.
It's ok for a quick check but I really wonder where they get their data. Also it doesn't tell you what kind of pollen there is, like what species. After having used this for half a year, I prefer the AAAAI website.
I went outside and immediately had allergy symptoms. This app said the mold count is low in my area. Other sources say it's very high. I only have these symptoms when the mold count is high. I have no use for inaccurate info. I'm going to uninstall.
This is great. Helps us plan for ramping up allergy meds and outside events. The dust measure does double-duty in our household. Gives allergy info and correlates well with wildfire risk, which is important to my family of firefighters!
I have really bad allergies and need to know what the air quality is like BEFORE I go outside, and this app tells me EVERYTHING I need to know. I have even set it up on a couple of my friends tablets and phones. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
If this app gave accurate forecasts I would love it. There is a huge difference between it's forecast of Low and the numbers of High as forecast by another app and the real numbers of High on the local news. Fix it's accuracy and I'll give it 5 stars as I like its listing mold as well which doesn't seem to exist on other apps.
Love it! I am allergic to mold spores now, (because of super bad management due to living in Chapel Ridge Salina, Ks. for 8 yrs and the severe water damage they never cleaned up!). I have severe chronic allergies now & I suffer a great deal. This little app will help me know when I should open my windows and when I should'nt because it lists mold spores as well!! Thank You!!
The allergen alerts aren't working for my area. It says no alerts every day, suggesting levels are at zero, but pollen, trees and mold are actually high (per every other website/tracker). Otherwise, good app--love the diary feature.
This app seems to be one of the few best. I like what it has to offer in terms of allergen data but not sure how accurate it is. The really annoying thing about it (and main reason I got it) is the notifications do not work, whatsoever. Also, the widget hasn't been updating for a few weeks now. Just stays the same time I open the app. I really like the ability to glance at the widget and see the levels but now I don't even know why I have it. Please update this app - it's been 2 YEARS!
... And the journal option is great too. I would love to see a 'causes of dust' in the app. For example, last year in my area we were dealing with volcanic debris...! I live nowhere near a volcano, but the winds carried it far enough. Knowing something like that helps me understand how long conditions will last.
The pollen particle count feature isn't particularly accurate or helpful for San Francisco. Since my sensitivities are severe I have to track a lot of this on another pollen count app. (Why are there not more in English???) The diary, symptom tracker, and meds tracker are awesome features - if the pollen count/air quality check improved this would be the BEST allergy tracking app.
It's ok for a quick check but I really wonder where they get their data. Also it doesn't tell you what kind of pollen there is, like what species. After having used this for half a year, I prefer the AAAAI website.
Our local pollen count (mountain cedar) is over 28,000, and has been extreme all week. This app says it's only moderate! I also think this app should give the actual pollen count, and cite the source. Without those features, I can't consider this a serious allergen tracking app, but just a vehicle for advertising.
Have been using app regularly. 1.) Have set up for specific allergy notifications. Doesn't notify. 2.) Length & color of bars supposed to represent strength of allergen "at a glance". Sometimes, shorter bar has higher # than longer bar. Hope WebMD fixes both. Could be great App if not for those 2 issues.
Like I am sure allergies are a pain, I am so tired I could sleep all day. I have to take other meds that dry me out then take allergy meds and the problem is compounded. I think this app will help track what is going on over the long hall.
This app shows pollen levels are all mild, but I know they're not. Every other website and app shows the levels are high. I know they're high when I walk outside and suddenly can't breathe because of the pollen. I don't know if it's monitoring the wrong location or if it's something else. I will stick with my other apps.
I wish you could view past days to see what they had so if you had a bad weekend you could look on Monday and see what was going on those days. Also, it would be nice to plot some symptoms against allergies with severity. But it is the only app I know that provides the information it gives. For that I am thankful.
I'm not sure their method of determining the allergens level is even close. My local TV station is warming us, yet the app said everything is low to moderate. I guess I should trust my nose........
All winter this app has been saying allergies for "dust in the wind" being sooooo terrible. ..I live in WISCONSIN!!! No dust has been blowing for oh, 4 months AT LEAST! unless you don't clean your house and the breeze is blowing thru(ya sure, whatever) So wrong! CONSTANTLY
This app said that there was no tree pollen alert yesterday, however when I checked the Chicago Tribune's weather page it listed peak pollen level as high for tree. Pretty big discrepancy. Questioning its validity.
I will come back and give this a 5 for all the information that it gives. However, it is getting the map wrong. I am in South Central PA, and it is showing me the Hudson Valley in New York state.
Seems to work. I feel miserable when it says to and allergies really break through when my tree pollen rating is severe. Wish it could predict several days out.
I have sever environmental allergies. I have set this app up for notifications and I never get them. I open the app daily becuase it's nice and accurate. I just wish the notifications worked becuase on the days I forget, it would be nice to have a reminder... It's still not fixed!!!!
I live deep in the woods. Deep in pollen and fungus and mold too. This helps me to decide whether I will need a Claritin for the day. Instead of finding out too late. Minus one star for the usual excess WebMd stuff and ads.
I compared this to the Storm allergy clinic counts, and they are completely different. I have to say my allergies seem to match the other info more. I do like the fact I can track my symptoms but outside of that....not helpful.
It's OK. Not accurate. It says my local pollen count is low to moderate. Other apps say the pollen count is high. I can tell by the way my eyes are itching like crazy the pollen count is not moderate. Other apps give more information and don't have a bunch of articles I'm not interested in reading.
Not sure what happened but all of a sudden it won't read current location. This is a must for me because I travel constantly. I don't want to have to manually enter my location. So sad
So far so good. I gave it a four because i haven't used it all year yet. But i see it is helpfull because i have allergies all year round and i want to know what is causing it. I know what I'm allergic to, but i need to see what what it is triggering my allergiesevery day. Thanks
I've had a long history of seasonal allergies and never thought to adjust my habits to the counts and warnings. Now that I have this app it really helps me keep them under control especially during the current drought. I would recommend it to anyone with outdoor and dust allerigies.
I like the tracking options and information. I wish the information was more detailed, but it is still a good and useful app. I have asthma that is induced by certain seasonal allergies. This helps me track my days, meds, and symptoms daily.
I've got allergies, some time mild, some times real bad, it's nice to know why it's a lousy day, can't do much about the pollen count but I know what to blame
This app has been a HUGE help for me. My daughter has allergy induced asthma and has such a hard time with so many airborne allergens. This app alerts me everyday so I can be aware of whats out there. I know if she'll need to stay inside for recess ahead of time. I'm so grateful for this app!
Apparently pollen counts are low in my area, but my allergies are reacting as if the pollen counts are high. Ok journal and articles. Still, I do not rely on the pollen counts in this app since I also see tons of tree pollen on my car along with bad allergies with it. Disappointed that this app isn't very accurate.
I'm pretty sure there isn't a feature to list and keep record of your specific allergies. Or at least I haven't found it. I'm only allergic to one type of grass and I'd like to keep up with that but there isn't a feature that works with that.
I can't believe the app of this level is free. My daughter has severe environmental allergies and random will be covered in hives. Besides telling me what allergens are high what day it let's me track her symptoms, email myself a pdf summary that I can take to her allergist. I AM BLOWN AWAY BY ALL IT DOES FOR BEING FREE.
I wish I could input what I'm allergic to and get updates/track that. This is great for checking general levels of allergens and tracking your symptoms. Thus, I do appreciate the app. I just wish for the input feature, so I only get exactly what I need.
I knew I had allergies but, to what, I never knew. Now I know when I'm coughing the dust is high, congested it's trees or ragweed... I check the app and confirm that I don't need a doctor, just some Claritin or Nasonex :)
It's helping me see what's causing my allergies. It would get a fifth star if it had a link to determine what allergens are in the air. Also a tracker on ozone/smog levels would be helpful.
Why can't I just look at a calendar to see previous days, track symptoms of previous days, look at trends. Greatly lacking features...

Easy to use, great benefit for severe allergy sufferers like me. Love the tracker, will be really helpful in the long term once I've tracked long enough to develop a trend. The tips and articles are full of beneficial information. Nice to have the ability to have data in my location and nearby surroundings than just the city or county other tools provide. So glad I came across this!
