When it works, it works. And when you need it to because you are at a fair where EVERYONE FINALLY HAS A SCANNER, it doesn't. It's just too darn unreliable.

Colleges ask to scan your barcode and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It is almost an inconvenience with it being so unpredictable. Stick with the paper printout, it might be another thing to carry but it will save you a lot of time.
