Hiya - Caller ID & Block

One of the better id apps I have tried. Not many option tho. Needs the ability to disable the built in dialer. Its not needed. Also need to be able to change the length of time the id displays. It gets in the way if it stays up too long. Edit. No change. Trying to find a replacement now. The dev of this app does not listen to user requests.

This app used to be magnificent. Now it won't update recent callers. It's like it stopped doing so after January 2017. I have an LG Stylo. I used this app on all my previous phones without issue. Is there any way to fix it? Update: 5/28/17 It no longer updates my call list. It is still stuck on 1/9/17 and hasn't correctly identified my calls since. My app is completely updated. Not a happy consumer. This usedto be the best app available. I don't know if it supports my phone any more but this definitely needs addressing.

OK.... Please... Don't ignore this.... The app is systematically DELETING contacts.... I learn that it has done this.... When I attempt to text and can no longer find number in contacts.... 2 in the last hour.. My nephew My

Before recent update this worked. Now it lets all calls through even though upon review of its log it says it was blocked. Now this is nothing but another worthless app unless fixed real soon! To bad I just told others rhey should get it :(

THIS APP HAS ADDED A CERTAIN LEVEL OF PEACE BACK TO MY LIFE !!! THANK YOU TO THE DEVELOPERS ! It gives me accurate information. Blocks the right calls and SMS text messages. It also allows me to get the calls that I WANT to receive ! Truly the best app I've ever downloaded from the Play Store ! Great job, thanks again !!!☆☆☆☆☆

This app use to be amazing. It would block every suspected spam call. Now nothing is blocked and the recent calls list is stuck from back in February. Not too sure what happened. I have given this app a chance and even after it has been updated and reinstalled no luck.

Wow, worse and worse...PLEASE SEPARATE calls from texts or offer the ability to do so!! Emailed u, u said not enough people had requested feature. Used to love this and couldn't live without it. Now, it STILL RINGS even half a ring so loud whole my phone is on SILENT?? Embarrassed me at a mass convention and annoying the rest of the time!! When I click on info, wheel loads forever and I have to close it, can't get info. Some marked as spam have come thru long enough rings for me to answer! Help or I'm going elsewhere.

Started blocking calls the same day. My phone is so quiet. Chalk up one for the good guys. This app is so great, we forwarded our land line to our mobile and now that's quiet, too. The gov'ts Do Not Call is a waste of time.

This app lets me know who is calling every time. If îts a scam, it lets me know so I can be aware. It will block calls and give me an option to continue to block or to unblock. So far so good

The app does a good job blocking spam and unwanted calls but it still lets them leave messages. I have gotten a bunch of voicemail from spam callers with pre recorded messages even when hiya blocks the call.

It's a good app but sometimes I feel the information in it is not accurate. Would be nice for the cell phone carriers created a way for True caller ID to work over cell phones.

We should not be forced to send a text message if we want to block all unknown numbers. That just tells the spammer that the number is active. It causes more spam...

Works great but I see it don't block some numbers but their getting better everyday but I keep getting unknown text by telemarketers and they don't block that even know their is a SMS block feature but I wish they could do better on that. Anyways great app would recommend it on iOS and Android I also use this on my se works great but thanks for this amazing app we need this.

Its cool because it blocks the spam calls but for some reason its decided that my local health department is spam and im having hell of a time keeping Wic appointments and appointments with the maternal infant health program is there a way to stop this app from blocking that specific number so i can keep appointmemts

stopped working in august, won't see past august in recent calls. Though the apps says nothing about "paid features" I can only assume its only trial ware, but there's nothing to upgrade to premium which is probably 99 a year or more. Hiya only displays what's in your contacts. it won't even pass through what your carrier sends now.

This app identifies many nuisance calls -- suspected spam/junk/beggars/political etc. -- very well. Unfortunately, it lets these calls ring until picked up by voicemail. There needs to be an option to immediately dismiss (hang up) these calls by default as soon as they are identified. Also, this app DOES NOT appear to block texts. Finally, recent changes promote​ texts from other users. like "Hi, I'm using Hiya." Who are these texts for?? I'm already using the app and don't care to get texts from millions of other users!!

This is a fantastic app. It blocks all spam numbers. I get alerts on each one. An automatic rejection text gets sent to cell numbers. I use a Galaxy S8. I highly recommend this app.

Used to work. Now it doesn't even register recent calls. Just a waste of storage

If it wasn't for this app I wouldn't get any peace from scammers calling me ALL day, everyday. Plus, I like to read the comments. Haha!

Does not seem to be working like it should. It will let calls come through that are on my block list. Not identifying most calls unless they're in my contacts list. Very disappointed.

I used to love this app back when it was Whitepages. Worked for a little bit after renamed to Hiya. Then it broke. I sent an email to support but never heard from them.

It's crap. Says it blocked a call, but it rang and I had to decline. What is the purpose? And the call screener is a joke!

Too many settings missing. Nowhere to turn off text replies. Couldn't even disable screening temporarily when I was expecting a delivery, I had to call the person back because the number kept being blocked.

This app would be excellent if it could actually do what it claims to be able to do but it frequently falls too block or screen calls from numbers that other websites like whitepages have already flagged as frauds or scams.

I love this. It stops and identifies all scams and unwanted calls.

This is a great app for ID and blocking those calls you don't want. I highly recommend it.

Great caller ID app the only one that detects who's calling and blocks spam and scam callers. I do not know what I'd do without this app

Love this app but I'm only giving it 4 stars because I would love to see it also incorporate a text block as well. Unfortunately, even if a call is blocked they can then text so it doesn't help much. However it is an excellent call blocker, if you're not concerned about blocking texts.

Poor start, very slow to come on or load info. A waste to download. Very disappointed with this application

Application blocks calls from known numbers, despite settings to not do so. Blocks callers in contact list. Uninstalling , see if things clear out.

Overall very good. However it disconnects a call in progress if you receive an incoming call. Galaxy S7

Blocked numbers are still ringing through to my phone. And for some reason after the last update not all numbers calling my phone are showing up in this app. I can't even see whop they are because they aren't even listed in this call log. Will be looking for a different app that actually works.

It's working out very well for me! and so easily at setting option nothing overwhelming.

Something had changed with this app. I had it for a while. In the beginning, it would block unknown calls and now it doesn't work anymore.

Impossible to en have something moving on the app. It's always blocking and unresponsive

A huge step up from Truecaller. Hiya finally knocked out all the telemarketers calling me. Thank you Hiya!

Still missing a ton of info. Not very useful unless you stick with it for months at a time and update contact's as you go.

Wouldn't let my bluetooth connect. It was sporadic. Popup was in the way, no matter where you put it.

Hasn't recognized one phone number. Completely useless.

Previously worked well, worthy of 5 stars. After most recent Android update it seems to not do anything, at least for me. Wish it would perform the way it has in the past.
