You can't sign in

Once again being logged out almost every time while using the app because of too many sessions. They charge for more sessions and this is obviously a grab for more revenue. Been a WXTap subscriber for 10+ years, but I think I'm done with it. Uninstalling and not renewing.

What the... ??? Been a subscriber for a few years of their full website mostly for amateur forecast and severe weather observation and planning. While a little clunky, I liked their old app because I could easily access all the forecast model data, not so much for radar. This new app, while shiny, has no forecast model data access, so not useful for me anymore, much better radar apps out there than this one.

I have been a paying customer for many years and I don't care what anyone says this is the best weather app available. The new look is great. The only thing I would like to see are alarms for approaching storms, rain, lightning, ect. Also auto log in would be nice.

All is good. It kept crashing on startup. Cleared the cache as someone mentioned and now it works!

Paid subscriber for years - updated review May 1, 2017.... mobile site is evolving rapidly at this point; most features from the main site are now available on mobile (some text products are missing). Overall very good, with a much-improved basic interface, and good consistency of operation across all the pages.

Found that clearing app data cleared the startup crash for me on both of my devices.

It crashes when I try to use the wxtap zoom radar after I upgraded to the latest Android operating system. I called and they said they would look into it and that was about 6 months ago. I noticed they haven't come out with a new update in about 2 years (July 2015). I have a 3 user paid account and beginning to wonder if it's worth staying with them if there is no support. Update I upgraded to the latest version and it still crashes when I try wxtap zoom.

Beatifully done upgrade, weatherTAP is an amazingly useful app! Glad to see this update on the app and the facelift to the website. Great customer service anytime I have an issue! :)

I have been a long term subscriber to weather tap. As a ham radio op I have spent many hours looking at radar during severe storms. But it is not a dumbed down product. It's one of the best services I have used in 20+ years.

The radar images are very pixelated and zoom capability is poor. I've used apps that allow a zoom to the street level. This app seems dated, much better options are available

Used to be so much better. They added more stuff other than radar, but took the radar from one of the bests with tracks and viewable, and made it one of the worst.

Terrible since Java is no longer used, too many issues to mention. Will be cancelling my subscription Why in the hell can't they leave well enough alone.

Great app been with weathertap for 10 years I trust my life to it

Works fine on my Droid Turbo.

So far app works good on my Sprint Note4 with Lollipop. Could use a few ui tweaks, but overall works good.

Won't let me sign in

Opens wanting a login. No way to be new. Only alternative is exit.

I had WeatherTap Zoom on my old phone, when I got my new Galaxy 6s I couldn't find the actual app, but this one had a similar name and the pictures shown are the same. I started questioning it when it wanted me to log in, the old app didn't require it but I thought maybe it's a new thing they are doing. So I signed up with a free trial and logged in. The radar is nothing like the pictures show. I honestly think this is a fake app posing as the real WeatherTap Zoom. No wonder they are 2.5/5.

This was my favorite weather app. I moved to the Galaxy S5 and it won't work at all. It seems to have a sign in glitch.

My name? hayell nawwww...nope, no siree not giving it to you. SERIOUSLY WHY?? It's just a weather app; you want more info from me than google! FAIL. EPIC FAIL. The locater on my phone will provide my location . I just dont get you guys.

WT has an easy to use and navigate app with all the custom features you need. They are an experienced company. Their radar is top notch. They have also a complete web service.

Cost is too much. Radar updates 15 minutes at most. Customer service hardly responds after your joke of a trial. Also they claim that everything is included well they wanted me to pay another 30 bucks and that is a load of crap. Stop the smoothing of radar and make an option for raw data. Would not suggest this to a beginner and sure not to a pro.

I have used this app on my iphone ever since I saw them at eaa a few years ago. I liked it but now it seems I have to create an account to use the app at all. I dont use the app enough to justify paying for it but having a free version would be nice. I dont think I will be recomending this to friends any more.

What happened to auto update when you dragged the screen down? Worked for 4 years, now I have to go back to favorites to get current radar.

Paid subscriber for years - this won't handle auto signin - what's the point of mobile app without that feature? Weather Tap apparently requires Apple for proper operation - should be a warning for this on their site. Update - July 8 2015 - still doesn't handle auto-login; this really shouldn't be an issue given how many other Android apps have no problem with this. Mobile options screen now shows "Auto Login: off" with no ability to change the setting... Upgraded to two stars because at least some of the other annoyances were corrected.

This is the best weather app.

Paying for radar. Time to move on. Too many free apps out there. Uninstaller app

Have Samsung S4. I am a paid subscriber but cannot login. Apparently if you have an Android the app is useless. Don't waste your time downloading.

We have used this at the radio station for years. Love the upgrades. Can't wait to use this app more.

UPDATE 6/21/2015: I've been using the mobile website which works fine, it would be nice if zoom was a part of the mobile website since I can't use the zoom app on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and it looks like you don't seem to be doing anything to fix this app since the last time I rated this app.

Well, technically it works. Clunky. Wants me to log in on almost every launch. And WxTap has an absolute fetish for refusing to show me weather data because I had the site up on my laptop. Lighten up, Francis.

Yet again, weatherTAP does not disappoint. Great professional weather product for the serious weather users. Not only is their site and app wonderful, their customer service is second to none!
