OSM Offline Maps Android Wear for Android
Amazing app the only standaline offline gps for sony smartwatch 3
The map seems fine when it has the massive label "Trial" plastered over it. But when you pay to have that removed, all the street names get removed as well! And the clearer street names in the OSM maps, is the only reason I wanted to use this app!! How useless!
Just how it needs to be. Lightweight, fast, no fuddeling around. Provides a robust amount of information and places to visit. Only two suggestions, can manually added Pins please be added to maybe a subcategory for POI to be used to start and stop point (phone free navigation)? And can Pins be added from watch using current centered position please? Many thanks.
If i have found a POI that i wanna visit, would it provide turn by turn direction to get to poi?
The app is good offline maps work but the labels does not show up.
Map doesn't reach the Northern Beaches
Excellent
All good
Purchased IAP to remove trial text only to find out it doesn't even work. Constantly crashes when calculating route.
This is what I bought my Sony Smartwatch 3 for. You can see maps even when you don't have signal. With an SW3 it'll even give you your location with no connection. This is one of the best apps I've found for the watch.
For some reason when I use offline maps on my Sony smartwatch 3 it shows me a trial screen and blocks my views of the map
Giant 'trial' takes up the entire screen. Don't download.
Run map, comes up with trial, went to phone and could not find any settings. How can we change or selection options. Cannot use with trial plastered all over watch face.
Much easier to use. It's nice to be able to quickly get your location without digging out the phone. Having offline map data on my SW3 means that I also have a fallback if something were to go wrong with my phone or data access.
Offline map is limited to selection of few cities. Although devs claim they can add requested cities in few days it doesn't really help if you are on a trip and arrive to a city that is not yet added. Without ability to download whole countries (including roads between cities) or at least broader area it is not very useful. Also it forces you to buy premium version. I want to test free version first, but it is impossible because you can't see actual map because it is covered by huge TRIAL sign.
Singapore map not working on sony smart watch 3 , it used to be working but recently it dont show the map but just the outline of the country

Works great sw3

Really like this app. It works on my Sony Smartwatch 3 when not paired to phone! So very cool to have a standalone map with GPS! I too found it difficult occasional to close the options section. Also, how do I access the directions ability on my watch? Couldn't work it out at all! (I've downloaded the directions to my watch ok). Thanks! EDIT: Of course, now that I ask the question I find it: hold down on a part of the map for a full second (I'd tried just tapping or tapping and hold for a moment).
Requested maps are added very quickly!
How do I exit app's options in lg watch r??
Dev is superb at adding new maps. Should allow other osmaps to be uploaded. Or allow for 50 mile radius map of current location to be downloaded

Would be great to have same experience with screen as with Google Maps: the screen dims, BUT when user presses screen the map appears back, i.e. no need to start the app again and again.
Had some problems with a launcher that seems to lock up map transfers. Deleted the launcher.
(Updated) initially I was gtg trial e1 after gtg premium version. Had to clean slate and install again.. Awesome experience... (suggestion) Add more offline and interactive maps
Pretty useless as a trial.
Please add Bucharest-Romania so I can use it as well... I find it a vrey nice ideea! Thank you! Thank you very much for the prompt response and the update, it works perfect! As soon as I get payd, I will buy the full version altolhough you where decent enough to leave the app fully usable with the free version as well. Kudos to you! Cheers! 5 stars ;)
Pros: Simple, easy to use. scroll, zoom, show direction, support Sony SW3 inbuilt GPS! Tips: I paid for the premium version and downloaded a map for my city, uploaded it to the watch, but there was black text covering the map telling me "Please, use the phone app first to download and transfer maps to your wearable". To get rid of that I held down my finger until the red cross showed so I could restart the app. Then I was in a world of wrist-mounted map pleasure.
Please add the map for Quito, Ecuador
Very useful having offline map on watch. No wating for network for displaying map
App has huge "trial" label slapped across it which makes it unusable unless you pay for it. This isn't disclosed at all in app description which misleads ppl into thinking this is a free app its not. Avoid.
Free download which is unusable due to a massive TRIAL word stamped across the screen, offline map download is limited, better off just sticking with Google maps.
Could you please force the app to use the watch's built-in gps when it's activated instead of the phone's gps? [Edit:] Yes the watch automatically uses the phone's gps when connected, that's what I meant. I know that's the default behavior of android wear but it's possible to force the watch to use its own gps even when connected - I've seen another app doing it. My phone's gps is disabled usually and it doesn't make much sense to pull out my phone to turn on its gps everytime before I use this app on watch
I find it hard to rate this app. It looks like it might be good, but the trial stamp over everything makes it impossible to tell. Premium cost is typo high. Uninstalled.
Keeps disappearing from watch when u really want it. You have to reinstall app.
Missing from the map, were the wrong side effects map, cancellations were maps

This app is causing connection issues at the system level with my New Balance RunIQ watch (running Android Wear v1). Makes the watch unresponsive to settings commands from the Android Wear app and requires a factory reset for full connectivity restoration. Went through this a couple of times before I found the culprit.
