Wear App Manager for Android
I left a bad review when the app stopped working after AW 2.0 came out. All it took was a reinstall and it works great. Lets me see exactly what's installed on my wearable, and remove apps all in one place. I like it a lot, seems indispensable for managing my watch.
Really good for managing watch faces that sit on the watch and either don't install or uninstall appropriately.
Well this app is pretty much useless. Duplicates uninstall features built in your app drawer. Guess it's good for noobs.. A waste of money for me...
Almost completely useless. During uninstall of wear apps, clearing app data is not even an option. This way your uninstaller app leaves a lot of junk on the Android Wear watch!
Buggy qpp
It not much different than the storage view from Android wear.. I mean I only see the installed apps and cannot uninstall not one of them. I have some apps from wearable software and could no uninstall them using this app. I had to factory reset the watch to get rid of them..
Pretty good, but I was expecting being able to remove apps *from the watch*. Apparently, the ones that can be removed at all are removed from both the watch and the phone, which is not necessarily what I need. --- Correction: Yes, it is clear from the description that uninstalling must be done from the app on the phone. What wasn't 100% clear is that it is not possible (most likely Google's brilliant design) to remove the watch component but still keep the phone app.
sony Xa ultra + Huawei steel wear.
This does EXACTLY what it says it will do. Take a moment reading thru what you're installing before you slam or downgrade an app because you didn't understand or take the time to isn't fair to the dev. When Android wear 2.0 comes out in the fall you'll then be able to manage apps on your device directly as well as have it on both the phone and device. Until then, blame Google. But I like the app, and the fact I know what's actually ON my watch, whereas before I had no idea really. So kudos to the developer!
I actually got this so I could get rid of the pesky "calling setup" app from my huaweii watch. It didn't identify it, and I figured it was a long shot anyway, but after using it for a little while I realized how handy and necessary something like this is since there is only limited space on wearables. 99 cents, while a typical cost for an app, is nearly a meaningless cost in the scope of things. I'll be keeping it.

All it does is uninstall the app off of your phone to remove it from the watch, you can do that yourself for free.
The name of this app is very misleading.
This uninstalls the app from the phone and watch. Pointless.
Found some things that I didn't even know were installed (thank you Verizon). Also easier to see what I have installed and decide if I still use that app or not, and let's me go to the Uninstaller and uninstall it.
Some watch faces marked as not on the watch are actually there. Some that are there don't show in your list. The sort order "last update date/time" does not reflect notifications I get about watch updates, but the notifications may be misleading.
When I first started using Android Wear I was dismayed to learn that it is impossible to keep apps from downloading to your watch. This app at least lets me track the current status of these apps on my phone and watch. Well done.
The app is still useful for getting info on wear apps. The wording in the play store listing makes the user believe that one can "remove the wear apps that one is not using". You should clearly state, at the top of the listing, that this also uninstalls the phone app; not buried as a disclaimer at the bottom of the listing.
I have refresh 1 to 5 times to get it to connect to the watch. Then it works, but what a hassle! It is already paired and working flawlessly but just not connecting
I would like to see the app be able to remove apps from the watch. Only the watch. Why does the watch take some of the apps from the phone? It took My Radar, now if I try to remove it from the watch, it takes it from.the phone as well......I have a zenwatch 2
You can not uninstall apps that are only on the android wear device! Says you can uninstall apps, but only apps from phone. This makes no sense? Why list it as a feature if it isn't?
Useless app. Either crashes constantly, cannot connect to wearable app, or shows all apps as not found on wearable device. Save your money.
I have this aeris weather app on the watch and not on the phone and i cant get rid of it, it doesnt show in this manager, but still on my moto 360 2nd gen
Is not connecting anymore with Smartphone 3 after marshmallow update
Used to be perfect, no longer works at all after update.
Works as advertised.
Not much use other than the cool knowledge of some technical aspects of your apps. The claim "Easily uninstall ones you're not using" is true, but not really. I'd love to get rid of junk like Amazon, Play Music, Translate, etc. and this app will help you get rid of them....but on your phone also! I can do that without this app. Really not useful, definitely not worth the .99. Uninstalling now.
This app does not just uninstall apps from your wear device, but also from your phone as well. Maybe instead of having language that suggests that It can be removed from just the wear device, you further clarify that it can only be removed from both. Until then, my review at 2 stars stands.
This app cannot uninstall Wear App. It does NOT manage my wear apps.
Great app manager and does what it says on the tin..
No response from wearable app
As another reviewer stated, this is essential tool for the Android Wear ecosystem, and for understanding what is placing modules on the watch, on the phone etc. One issue I have with AW is the lack of control, many processes are hard coded, and not obvious to the user what is being done. This takes some mystery out of that. The only major improvement I would love to see is a storage info, such as music etc, so watch storage could be managed. That would make this app perfect (if possible in the same application)
It's really helpful to figure out if the apps are installed to my watch. I'm glad this is a must-have. I don't know why sometimes the app is installed yo my watch but the manager says its not, kinda odd.
I bought this under the premise that we would be able to use this to sideload apks to android wear, not just view a list of available android wear apps, Google has ways to do this now. I even emailed the dev in OCT before I purchased asking if that was a feature. Dev responded with working on that now will have that feature put in soon. It's been almost a year.
I'm on day two of my Android Wear experience. I just installed Android Wear Manager and I can already tell it's a must-have app. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around how apps get installed on my Android Wear. Android Wear Manager takes the mystery out of that process. Among other useful benefits it let's me easily see which of my apps have installed Android Wear modules on my phone. It shows me how much space each app takes. It shows me what permissions each app is using. And it lets me launch the Android Wear version of the app directly. Nicely done!
Doesn't work
Another essential app that should be integrated in Android Wear in the first place. Thank you developers for taking care of that. Well worth the money.
Good for storage space management and monitor installation status of individual apps. It also functions like a quasi app launcher for phone and wear drives.
A must-have for Android Wear users.
