News On 6 Weather is a FREE application with free weather information such as radar, watch and warning information and forecasts. It also offers the ability to purchase push notifications for 130 weather alert types powered by iMap Weather Radio.
The app includes the ability to add five locations for tracking hourly, daily & extended weather information, forecasts, and watches and warnings all FREE. Users get a 6th "current" location that updates whenever the app is open.
News on 6 Weather's push alerts are powered by WDT's highly scalable, fully redundant, alerting and messaging engine. Through a 7-day free trial users may experience all of the same premium alerting features found in iMap Weather Radio. Those features include push notifications for more than 130 National Weather Service alert types, voice announcements of alerts, spoken alert details, spoken forecasts, alerts based on your current location tracked in the background. Think they misunderstood dory. Its just keep spinning spinning spinning. What does it do it spin spins spins. Got an lg g4 with full bars, or on wifi. Tried restarting phone. Am uninstalling now.

I downloaded this app during heavy rain and it loaded the radar immediately upon opening. It has tons of alerts to choose from, including fire warnings. I turned on my location and everything runs smoothly, even with my low signal in a rural area.

It's practically the same as the channel 8 weather app. Not sure yet which app I'll keep for weather updates - this one or Channel 8. On a side note, I'd like to take a moment to respond to Ashlynne Burleson's review of this app. Ashlynne: Your excitement over this app doesn't give you right to tell others how to feel about or rate it. Sheesh! Makes you look like a shill or related to someone there.

Verry poor as a certified advanced storm chaser certified by national weather service the app does not reflect the same radar data you see on live news live news shows hook echo and the app does not this app needs the same radar data that the news shows fix this and i will re rate my opinion

I love this app a lot! To everyone that is rating bad, maybe you should learn how to use this app. Otherwise, delete it, because this app doesn't need your negative reviews. But to anyone looking for a good weather app, this one is absolutely fantastic. I strongly suggest to anyone looking for weather alerts, and everything you need to know, to download this app! ☺

This was the best weather app I had found and it worked great until t two weeks ago when I updated my phone. Now it just says that it can't open and then it shuts down. I have tried it with my location service on, with wifi connrcted & on my data & nothing has worked. Please if anyone knows how to make it work again Lowry me know.

I absolutely love this app. I can choose any city that I want, which helps me keep a eye on the weather in whatever state my Fiancé works in. It's very easy to use, and my favorite feature is when the National Weather Service sends out warnings. An alarm sounds on my phone, waking me up, so I can see what's going on.

This app will not work on my phone anymore with the new update. It tries to load and then I get an error message stating that it has stopped. My location is turned on. I also tried with WiFi and just using mobile data but the same thing happens. Looks like it is back to channel 8. Update 5.18.17 This app will still not load. I thought I would try it again. Worthless! Sticking with channel 8.
