La Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos es la carta magna que rige actualmente en México. Es el marco político y legal para la organización y relación del gobierno federal con los estados, los ciudadanos, y todas las personas que viven o visitan el país. La actual Constitución es una aportación de la tradición jurídica mexicana al constitucionalismo universal, dado que fue la primera constitución de la historia en incluir los derechos sociales,1 2 dos años antes que la Constitución de Weimar de 1919. The Constitution of the United Mexican States is currently governing charter in Mexico. The Constitution was passed by the Constituent Assembly on February 5, 1917 and entered into force on May 1 of that year.
