WCLC Lottery Manager

Yesterday the app lost the ability to scan tickets.... It tries, but tickets no longer register. I didn't notice any recent updates... But yeah, it is now broken. It was a great app.... But needs to be fixed, or it's useless.

Good app and works fairly well. Suggestion for the scan ticket function would be to have the window in which you must have the barcode contained within could be more intuitive and straight forward. I had to fiddle for 10 mins to learn where to hold my phone for the ticket to scan. Overall nice app.

I downloaded this a month ago and out worked well. Stopped working so I uninstalled and reinstalled. No help. Still does not! Scan a ticket! Very disappointed.

Total POS app!!! Can't even scan 2 tickets in a row!! I doubt how accurate it even is...how many people have lost out on winnings because it doesn't scan properly?!? You make enough money on lottery so perhaps investing in technology that actually works is a novel idea...just sayin'

Bar code reader does not function. Having it work, even 50% of the time, would make it somewhat worthwhile.

I have the same phone as when it worked and have complained before. Why not working anymore s7 edge.

WCLC thanks for replying. The app is now version 1.6.0 & still scanning very poorly with my ASUS ZenFone 3 when I tested with 15 tickets. I tried the new focus options but it didn't seem to help. Won't scan unless I hold it a certain way and even then it doesn't work very much. The OLG app works well on my phone so why can't the WCLC app work? Why not add the ability to have the app notify you when your favourite #s match enough #s to win? Or add your own custom sounds when you win or lose?

I have been using this app for several years. It has worked great for scanning tickets until latest update of the app . It use to work on my galaxy S7 edge and my galaxy s5. I have tried different camera modes in the app on my S7 but have not had any success. The last time I was able to scan was October 8th as I have a screenshot of a winning ticket. Since then I can only scan with my s5 with the previous version of the app. Please fix this. It went from a great 5 star app to useless.

Not sure what you did but that last update win the "ticket scanning improvement" basically broke ticket scanning. I can sit here and try for 10 minutes to scan a barcode and it won't work. Revert this change it's horrible!

You do realize that the running lines on either side of the ticket confuses the scanner .....right? You need to hold the camera to keep one side line out of view and then it correctly scans. A year later..... This is getting a bit frustrating. Please send an advisement to the stores to properly align the ticket paper in the machine and go back to your printer vendor for the ticket paper and remove the lines on either side pls. It will save all your customers time and headaches trying to figure out why your app doesnt always work.

This application doesn't work it used to work but after the latest upgrade it doesn't work anymore. I'm reading other reviews and it does not seem to work for a lot of people so I guess it is a common problem since the last update, hopefully a newer version is available soon to correct the problem with scanning tickets

Download and ee downloaded, scanner witnit work on S7.! The app stopped working after my samsung s7 did an update. It fails to read the bar code. Tried reinstall no help. I Really liked thiz app before please fix. Just updated the app and it now works with my S7. Thank you

This newest version is significantly slower and unacceptably unreliable. It struggles to scan in various light conditions. It seems like a big step backwards. I would suggest your developers have got it wrong on this one. Too bad.

Just installed this to check some Christmas tickets and it seems to do exactly what it says. It can sometimes take a couple of tries to get the scanner to work, but it never took longer than about 10 - 15 seconds at the most to scan, and the numbers always were accurately scanned. Good job.

Does not read any barcodes. Tried 4 different tickets and lined up the barcodes, nothing registered and no errors. Oct 14, tried again, still not scanning barcodes. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, still not working. As of right now, the app is simply wasting space on my phone...

This app will not scan tickets consistently. I have tried everything to focus the bar code: different angles, different lighting, different focus modes from the app itself. Nothing seems to help this app to scan a ticket. Complete garbage..

Update: I've tried again. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still doesn't work. I have a Samsung s7 edge and it's not working for me anymore either. It didn't work very well before this update either. I've tried all the camera focus options and nothing works.

Just downloaded this app and started reading the reviews which seem to be negative. Tried it out on a few scratch cards and old lotto tix ,worked perfectly. Just wish my numbers were as perfect. Looks good app. Using Samsung S7

Jan 13th, just reinstalled the app, and the app still does not work at all. Not even once, support is terrible, cannot seem to realize they screwed up the app with their updates and do not seem to know how to fix it

The ticket scanner used to work great until the last update. Now it won't scan at all. Seems to be a popular complaint so I assume they'll have it fixed soon.

App works fine. Flawless even. The issue people seem to have is with dual cameras. My dual lensed phone cannot scan bars.. whereas single lense camera phone works flawlessly.

I loved this app until the latest update. We had 5 tickets and only 1 scanned properly. I tried closing and reopening the app and uninstalling and reinstalling the app but it was still not working properly. Please fix this.

Really wish I could upgrade my review, but I can't (much as I appreciate WCLC's efforts to resolve!) My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 running the latest Bell Mobility updates (i.e. "Nougat" Android 7.0). The older app stopped being able to scan entirely after I updated to this version of the mobile OS. Having been notified of the new app version, I was eager to try it out. Unfortunately, I tried multiple tickets and only got one to successfully scan. Even this scan came after such a long attempt I would have saved time just manually comparing the numbers. Several other tickets would not scan at all, even under the best light conditions and using all of the different camera modes available in the new app. I have another, older Android device on which I have the app installed, and it still reads tickets reasonably well. I hope WCLC can troubleshoot this as I run a lotto pool in my office and so have many tickets to check for each draw.

In the past, I loved this app because it had been so convenient for checking lotto and scratch'n'win tickets by just scanning the barcode. But since the last update, I haven't been able to scan a single ticket at all! I will be uninstalling in a week during my monthly app clear out if still no fix.

This app used to work ok, but after a recent update, the ticket checker function does not work at all. the camera turns on, you can line up the barcode as directed but it will not read the code or check the ticket. app has a low rating and poor support, yet Lotto Corp doesn't seem to care. Given the amount of money taken in by the lottery, could they not afford a decent app? Update: received a notice email from app developer regarding updated version. Still does not scan barcodes. I'm running Android V 7.0 on a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, so I should meet minimum requirements. I have tried the different focus options and the flash button. Nothing works!

Beyond poor. It will work for a while and then suddenly stop no matter what you do. Installed it on 3 different devices and it always the same thing.

Possibly there was a recent update and now it is very finicky when checking tickets which is the main use of this app. Previous version was slow but at least it worked. Reinstalled and have the 1.6 version so obviously the most recent patch was a fail. NOV 26 2017.
